Dr. Carla Price, MD

I was very impressed with the thoroughness of Dr Price and her PA, Eli. My long term PCP retired, therefore, I had to find another one. Eli and Dr Price were good listeners and cared about me and my health problems. Dr Price was very thorough in her physical exam. The office staff are friendly. The nursing staff are friendly and efficient and Teresa, the phlebotomist, was very efficient and caring. I am very pleased with the care I have received from the entire staff at Jefferson Primary Care.

I had an appointment at 10 am, the time I am writing this. And I am in my car, about to go home. I did not meet the doctor, because the nurses would not let me in to see her without being weighed. I have an eating disorder that I am still in recovery for. I told them that after speaking with Dr. Price, I might consent to weighing, but not until then. The nurses said that I couldn't even speak to Dr. Price unless they weighed me. So I left. This is unacceptable. I had made an appointment with this doctor because I heard she uses weight inclusive practices. Apparently the staff is not.

Dr. Price listens carefully to her patients and is very supportive.

Dr. Price has been taking great care of me and my husband for several years now. She is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. We both love her dearly and trust her with our general health care needs.

She is one of the best Family Practice Doctor! Very compassionate, awesome bed side manner, and listened and answered all my concerns. If you want high class patient care, I highly recommend her!!

I have never been so disappointed and angry. I recently needed to renew a prescription and called Dr. Price's Office. They charged me $10 to search their records for my prescription, and another $5 for ordering it. (I have never had a doctor charge me before for renewing a prescription). Next visit she prescribed medications that weren't covered by my insurance. She then prescribed another drug not covered by insurance, when I called again they prescribed another nonqualifying drug. Stay away!

Very experienced and thorough doctor. With her initial findings I was referred to the proper specialist regarding breast cancer and gallbladder surgery and am doing well now. I have complete trust in her and have referred others to her. She will squeeze you in if your symptoms require immediate attention. Her staff is very professional and helpful.
