Will not use standard opiates to relive fibro pain
After waiting months on a referral (denied the first time but no reason given), my first few visits were with a PA or NP, NOT the expert pain doctor. I finally saw Dr. Dimon, and talked about my treatment resistant fibro pain that reduced my functioning to approx 30%. He will NOT prescribe standard opioids for any kind of myofascial (includes fibro) pain and stated this. I had been seen on zoom by a psychologist who told me to my face that she had no concerns about me taking opioids for treatment, but later Dr. Dimon revealed she had flagged me as “COM 3” which apparently means “don’t prescribe opioids”! I had a small amount of oxycodone 5 mg by my GYN before referral which turned out to help my fibro pain AND fatigue better than past 15 plus other treatments. I have zero addiction or abuse history, always clean urine drug screens, yet I was viewed and treated as “drug seeking”. Had to survive this humiliation and coldness regarding severe pain detrimental effects on my life.

Dr diamond is a great doctor but this place is a zero star for sure. I have to go here due to insurance. My last appointment was at 10 I was seen at 10:30 for 5 minutes and was discharged at 11:30. This place is just a money maker for boumont. The pa I saw for the first time advised me to have back surgery again with me only 5 minutes what a joke of a place.

I made an appointment with Dr. Dimon, it was my first initial appointment. I wanted to discuss my issues and treatment plans with him. But I didn't even get a chance to see him. Rather I was put into the hands of a PA. From what the PA told me wad that the only time I would see Dr. Dimon would be when I was scheduled to get back shots. It seems that the PA's run the practice and the physicians are just trained monkeys that give back injections. They don't even write pain meds!
