Lied and said she's not accepting new patients.
I was told I had to wait months to see her and then they sent me 10 pages of paperwork to fill out. I explained that after 2 and a half years of Long Covid and serious cognitive decline, I didn't have the capacity. The office hung up on me and told me she was not taking new patients, but it says she is. Office staff is horrendous and after reading other horrible reviews, I guess I now have to try to find ANOTHER doctor.

Absolutely not!
Worst experience ever with a medical professional. I am only 25 and was just seen in the ER for chest pains and trouble breathing. She was extremely rude and irritated that I chose to go to a hospital not affiliated with her office, rather than showing any concern for my condition. With history of heart issues and blood clots, the ER was extremely cautious and performed major testing to rule that out. Yet at today’s follow-up, she proceeded to dismiss all of my symptoms, tell me she didn’t agree with their diagnosis of my heart condition, and told me she thought I had ACID REFLUX. Give me a break. Waste of time, I should have followed my initial instinct of her last year. I know need to search for a new PCP while following up with a cardiologist to help me.

Keep looking!
Dr. McConarty lacks empathy, compassion and makes you feel so uncomfortable when you should feel the safest! She will ask and check all questions prompted by her progress note template on her computer but shows no interest in any real concerns you have other than to check the box off. She doesn’t remember or follow through with your plan of care even though the computer is right in front of her. She doesn’t seem to know anything about medicine as most questions responses are “I have no experience with…” If you have any illness or a chronic condition she sits in judgement of you and is visibly annoyed, through no fault of your own other than genetics. Worst experience and sadly went back a couple of times thinking she was having a bad day. Based on her reviews (wish I had looked first) she has a bad day everyday!

She's great
It's been a VERY long time since I've had a doctor that I trust as much as her. She is very kind, patient and understanding. She does come across as intimidating as she is tall, athletic and brilliant, but if you're able to look past that and see her as a person, and a doctor, you will find that she is caring and supportive of her patients. She does not want to over diagnose or diagnose too early, which I appreciate! She takes her time and talks to her patients. Bedside manner is extremely important in building relationships with patients, and she is very good at it. I found her during COVID, when no one was willing to see new patients, but she was. I'm so glad I found her.

I don’t recommend her at all!!!
Dr. McConarty was the most unhelpful dr. I’ve ever encountered. If any disease, she’ll blame you, for things out of your control, she blames first, then wants you to explain away “her theory”. First visit I knew she was off, I was a little late and got scolded about my 15 min time slot. Next was ok, third visit, I told her about my anxiety, she said I won’t write a prescription. “Do YOGA”, if anyone has anxiety attacks you know that they aren’t planned events, and you can’t just drop and do YOGA. My third visit I asked about a couple things I’d heard about to try to help manage my condition, she dismissed me saying “she has no experience using the products, but would consider trying one of the two, at my next visit”. My LAST visit, she was very irritated because of test results, and scolded me once again. I’ve NEVER had a dr like her, and I hope I never EVER do again!!! If you have an illness forget about her!!! Unprofessional, don’t waste your time, or money!!

Do not recommend
Dr. McConarty is the least helpful doctor I’ve ever encountered. Sure, she’s nice enough, and available, but if you have a problem, you’re going to be out of luck. I’ve been seeing her for about 8 months. In that time, I’ve gone to her with two very painful issues. She was no help with either. One she dismissed as stress without any investigation that it might possibly be something else, which it is. The other, I can’t even. She suggested an OTC remedy that had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with the issue I was describing. I give up. Time for a new doctor.

Dr. McC is just wonderful; a thoughtful, thorough, kind knowledgeable clinician- she spends time asking questions and providing suggestions/alternatives- some people might find her intimidating as she is tall, confident, athletic, extremely intelligent, and striking- a good model for her patients- I find her a perfect fit for me-

Felt as if she were selling additional medical stuffs. Blood pressure meds, colonoscopy, flu shot etc.. compromised on things and told to see her again in 3 months as to monitor high blood pressure.I' had high readings which are due to walking a brisk 15 minutes to the office and stress going to a doctor She asked me to go on blood pressure meds as one of her first comments.I had just lost 23lbs I was in shock..My blood pressure was high at first reading 127/75 later would prefer an other
