Dr. Barnes performed a spinal discectomy on me on 8/20/2020. Everything went as he said it would. Gave me good information at my initial visit so I felt I could make the right decision about surgery. Answered my questions in a way that I understood everything. Very professional and personable at the same time. I am three weeks out and back to 100% of my former back health! Pain free! I would see Dr. Barnes again if needed and highly recommend.

Recovering, day 4 after surgery on 2 discs, everything went as planned. Dr Barnes' office staff was super and the staff at the surgical center was the same. I felt that between these 2 office staffs that every stone in my health history was turned over before the surgery took place Also, I do take exception to anyone who leaves feedback without any comments, if I require neurosurgery in the future it will be with Dr Barnes.

I have been going round and around trying to get help. Horrible pain going down arm. I have had MRI & emg. Shows only thing will help is surgery. Going on 6 weeks. This office will not make an appointment unless they have days maybe even weeks before I can be seen for consultation. Are we in Canada? I have wonderful private insurance. Hmm

I had a double level fusion with Dr. Barnes because 2 of my discs were gone. He did do a great job on my surgery from, but as for listening to his patients after surgery is a different story. I let him know at 3 months that things were starting to get worse. He told me that's how it was and told me to get injections. After those failed I kept telling the docs something wasn't right they wrote me off to pain clinic. I found out I have nerve compression that needs surgery from a new doctor.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Barnes?
I like Dr. Barnes a lot. He is always easy to talk to and honestly seems like he has my best interest in mind. However, the office staff is horrible. The lady (young woman) at the reception desk is rude and unfriendly. They kept me waiting an hour for a follow up apt and didn't even have the decency to just let me know that they were running behind. I wouldn't have minded so much if I knew but to treat me like my time wasn't important is annoying. I have a job too! People depend on me too

He could have fixed my vertebrate problem and closed me up but he took his time and search for a piece of bone that lodged in my spinal cord. I thank God for Dr. Barnes
