Went to another doctor right away
This doctor was dismissive, condescending, and uncaring. He told me to keep a food diary and avoid eating “anything with a mother.” The visit to him was a waste of time and money. I immediately booked an appointment with a different gastroenterologist, who listened, took notes, and scheduled a colonoscopy right away. If I could give Dr. Waldholtz zero stars, I would.

Dr. W is condescending and arrogant. He does not really listen to you or care about what you need; it is all about the money! Before scheduling any procedure you better get the reason and cause in writing, and not believe their verbal quotes! His office is difficult to reach and phone system is terrible. I'd give a 0 star if it was an option!

His is dishonest, he doesn't listen and he is a know it all even when the patient is right. He immediately came in and before asking any questions asked me if I have ever had a colonoscopy? I said no and he immediately said you need one then I can see what is going on inside. ok I thought then he starting asking questions. I was told I would be having a screening which is supposed to be paid 100% by insurance if the right diagnosis is put which I was lied to. I even made sure with his assistant/scheduling person/insurance before doing the colonoscopy to see what charges would occur. Bottom line I was charged wrong and he fused to change the code so make sure you have in written what he is diagnosing you with before you get a hefty bill. Nothing was wrong on my colonoscopy but a hefty bill even after verifying with insurance/his office that it was a 100% screening. Now I am seeing another doctor for the reason I went to him in the 1st place but he didn't believe me/more bills now.
