Dr. Harish Iyer, MD

I am experiencing unprofessional treatment from an assistant(Lexi) and the "supervisor". The clients portal messages is so unprofessional. I requested a callback from Dr. Neumann regarding lab results, but the assistant responded rudely, making me feel like a bother. After scheduling an appointment, I was shocked by the assistant's comment that doctors dislike returning calls about lab results due to time constraints. During a telephone appointment with Dr. Iyer, I mentioned a work-related issue, which was misinterpreted. The office supervisor then contacted me, claiming that I had been disrespectful and informed Dr. Iyer, resulting in my dismissal as a patient. I had already scheduled an appointment and was seeking clarification on lab results. I feel disrespected by the office's actions and lack of communication. Despite explaining my situation, I was treated poorly. I am disappointed in the Harbour View office's handling of this situation. I felt like the messages were never sent to the doctors in regards to the situation. I understand they don't have time for drama. But for the doctor to dismiss me and release me without speaking to me is just so unprofessional.

I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Iyer. He is a wonderful Doctor and genuinely cares about what is best for his patients.

He is the best doctor I have ever seen! He is kind, understanding and actually listens to everything you have to say. He treats you like his own family and I wish he was able to see me for all my illnesses. I trust no other doctor!

I suffered with many issues, and one of which was intestinal. Dr Iyer, is on an entire different level of care, he emails you back, calls. He makes you feel important. I’m a scientist and I’m impressed by how thorough he is. This guy is the “ Dr. House” of Gastroenterology!

Thankfully I have no serious gastro. related issues. I was overdue for a routine colonoscopy and needed to find a new Gastroenterologist, having moved from the peninsula to the southside. I chose Dr. Iyer ("i-year") based on the number and type of reviews, the type being key: kind, personable, patient, thorough, competent. My conversations with him before and after the procedure were brief but telling. He was encouraging, courteous, and open to any questions or concerns. The check-in nurse and his attending nurses were efficient, professional, empathetic w/good senses of humor, and likewise encouraging. The front office handled paperwork before and after accurately, and Dr. Iyer's documentation (mini report) of the procedure and results I received in the mail was excellent. Maybe not suitable for cocktail party conversation, but great for medical records!

Dr. Iyear is an exceptional doctor. He's very patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Dr. Iyear explained the diagnosis in simple terms and allowed ample time for questions. We never felt rushed or hurried. We left with a clear understanding of the diagnosis and the treatment plan. On a scale of 1 to 10 Dr. Iyear is a 12.

Extremely knowledgable and takes the time to explain things. The very best bedside matter I have seen in a very long time and shows compassion for his patients.

Dr. Iyer takes his time to explain all procedures and test results. He is a great Doctor.

Dr. Iyer is kind, considerate, a good listener and very professional. He explains your condition clearly and completely.

I can honestly say that he listens to my concerns and answers them. He is compassionate, pleasant, and a straight-shooter. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Iyer is very personable and caring. He responds quickly to follow up questions through the patient portal. He's also proactive and follows up with patients. I started going to him at the beginning of a medical crisis and I'm glad that I found such a great doctor.

I have found Dr Iyer to be a caring and attentive physician. This doctor pulled my Mom up from the lowest point in her physical life when other doctors had failed her. She loves him and he has my utmost gratitude and respect.i simply cannot reccomend him highly enough!

Dr. Iyer and his team has been phenomenal. Since the beginning of his care, he has been the most genuine, transparent, eager to help physician I have ever had. Any question I’ve had he has gotten back to me within 24 hours. Despite having numerous patients, Dr. Iyer has always made me feel like I am his only patient. He is eager to help, always having a positive outlook and encouraging attitude. I would recommend Dr. Iyer to anyone because I know the significant impact his care has done for me.

Dr Ivers, as well as the entire staff, answered all questions in ways that were clear an understandable. They gave me complete confidence through both the tests and their way of discussing the results.

Dr. Iyer takes the time to listen to what I say and to explain what is going on.

Easy to talk to and understand on my non-medical level.

Dr. Iyer is great ! If you are looking for a kind and thorough doctor who is very responsive and accommodating than look no further :) !!
