Dr. Bruce Edelman, MD

This was one of the worse experiences I had with a doctor. Dr. Bruce Edelman is a rude and condescending doctor. I went to him for my daughter's ear infections and he was so aggressive and had horrible bedside manners. He was pushing medications without explaining the purpose or the side effects of these medications. Absolutely NOT! He kept cutting me off when I tried to ask a question. He is everything you don't want in a doctor. I definitely will not be returning to him and will not recommend him to anyone. No matter how much experience you have or how smart you think you are, the way you treat people speaks volumes.

Always describes what is wrong in a language you can understand. Very detailed

Dr. Edelman is consistent with displaying patience, detailed explanations and descriptions, and supported with a professional staff.

Awesome doctor but their front office is extremely rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. Their fax# in university radiology was incorrect, which I had to coordinate between the 2 offices to get updated. Even after repeated calls to ENT Allergy Associates office to confirm if they received the report from Radiology which was sent on the correct number 2 days ago, there is no confirmation (as the call only gets picked by the call center which is of no use; apparently they confirm of passing the message to ENT Allergy Associates office, who never returns the call) When you try to talk to ENT Allergy Associates front office, they unprofessionally handle the call and even disconnect while you're talking. In my case, it was Amanda from Dr. Edelman's Somerset office.

Dr. Edelman was prejudice, did not listen to our concerns, and spoke over us. He was completely rude.

My husband has needed to have wax cleaned out of his ears for some time, and we didn't have a care-provider to turn to. We finally went to an urgent care facility, and they referred us to Dr. Edelman. We were able to get an appointment within a reasonably short time. The visit with Dr. Edelman was relatively painless as doctor visits go. We had the usual load of forms to fill out, but we were able to fill them out online in advance. The check-in process was handled expeditiously via text message, and the office is following COVID protocols. Dr. Edelman was quite approachable. He was able to get all the wax out of the ears, and he provided suggestions for at-home care to avoid wax build-up in the future. He also gave us reasonable advice regarding the need for hearing aids. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was shocked when he said ‘time out’ to me when I was explaining and giving background information about the reason for my kids visit. He kept cutting me off and absolutely disrespectful. Stay away if you want to be heard and want to understand the approach for his treatment

Dr. Edelman is a wonderful doctor, I highly recommend to anyone. He been taking care of all my family no complaints at all. He cares about his patient.

I would like to thank immensely Dr.Bruce Edelman for the great medical treatment he has given to our Daughter's ears.        When she was little she had several complicated issues with frequent fevers fluid settling in her ears and infections and hearing problems. We were very much worried        how her hearing would be as she grew.             Dr.Edelman saw her in St.Peter's university hospital. He diagnosed her several times and her ear tubes were small. Put ear tubes many  times surgically. They would fall out or bereplaced. It was such a risk with bating and swimming. He would see periodically and after several years noticed that she was able to hear with ear tubes blocked too. He took out the ear tubes immediately. Now she has almost normal hearing.         Dr.Edelman is the best, wonderful doctor and cares for his little patients in a wonderfullyhappy manner. Doctor is very patient and loves to care for my daughter. Cannot thank Dr.Edelman enough and my daughter is able to hear

Even though he had a full schedule, he worksd with me to make time for a follow-up visit to check on the progress of my situation. He went out of his way on my behalf and has enabled me to hear clearly again. SINCERE THANKS!

Doctor Edelman is very good

Indeed, Dr. Edelman is an outstanding Doctor. His professional expertise combined with his caring and genuine service attitude; makes him one of the best doctors in ENT field. He is supportive and truly takes the time to listen to his patients. His professional recommendations are precise and carefully considered; while clearly stating the pros/cons to his patients to help come to the best decision at current time. I am very selective of the doctors I use for my health and recommend. I highly recommend Dr. Edelman to others with no doubts. Thank you Dr. Edelman. I am grateful for your service to others.

Dr. Edelman is very personable and I am confident in his treatment of my condition. He explains everything very well and does his best to ensure that I’m following his instructions so I won’t have an adverse situation.

Dr. Edelman has been seeing my 3 yr old son since early 2021 regarding his enlarged adenoids. He has been very informative regarding his treatment plan/needs and has answered all of my questions regarding possible adenoid surgery.
