Didn't even get to see her
We never got to see Dr. Chapman. After a trip to the emergency dept, and a two-day stay for tests because of migraines and seizures, my son's primary care provider requested an appointment with Dr. Chapman for him, because we weren't having any luck with the neurologists in Elizabethtown (KY). Dr. Chapman's office responded with, 'we choose not to do second opinions'. We actually weren't wanting a second opinion. We were wanting (needing!) a neurologist who could treat my son, and we weren't even given the courtesy of a visit so she could meet him and see what's what.

She seemed very uninterested in my husbands condition. Very dismissive and condescending. Bad vibe from the first word that left her mouth. The top of my mask shifted to the top of my nose (nostrils still covered) while speaking and she stopped my husband mid conversation to TELL to to adjust my mask. So clearly wasn’t focused on what he was saying. Appointments were hard to make and staff at front desk were difficult to deal with. Not someone we would choose to see again. After leaving the appointment we still feel as if we are in limbo with many unanswered question. We would like to see someone who that cares more about the patients and not passing us by like we were just another number on the list. NEXT! Our health care has taken a turn for the worse and it’s scary! Next on our list will be a holistic dr who doesn’t push meds and searches for causes and solutions not a bandaid.

One of the best neurologists in town if you have seizures. She truly cares about me and it makes a big difference! I have especially appreciated the extra attention she showed for me when I was pregnant and had no seizures during my entire pregnancy.

Dr. Chapman seemed very annoyed throughout my appointment. She had an apathetic attitude and didn't seem to really care about my issue, nor did she offer feedback on what might be causing my symptoms. My next appointment is supposed to be with the nurse practitioner. I am hoping they will have a better bedside manner. Her nurse was very kind.

Dr Chapman is very knowledgeable and one of the best physicians we have encountered. Her ability to properly diagnose and resolve difficult issues is a remarkable trait. Her concern for her patients is obvious. She is very responsive to questions and a stickler for details.

Dr. Chapman has been wonderful in the care of my husband. Despite the fact that we were the last appointment of the day she did not rush. She is kind, compassionate, thorough, attentive and truly seemed to care. She called us personally multiple times during our work-up process. She is very knowledgeable but consulted with others when necessary. Would return to her if necessary and highly recommend to anyone else needing a neurologist!

Seemed preoccupied, not very attentive. Acted like she couldn't be bothered with questions. No plans to deal with her again in the future. Thumbs down :(
