He listens to his patients. The GI clinic is very busy but when you’re in his care he takes the time to listen to his patients.

No Class
"I had an appt at 9:00 on March 30 at Cleveland Clinic which he was nearly an hour late for. He ordered 4 tests and a follow up appt on June 30. On March 31 at 8:30 I received an email from Cleveland Clinic that he was no longer employed. I found out he had quit. He knew. In retrospect I should have suspected something when the reps quizzed each other when I requested the follow up appointment and they hesitated. His lack of transparency I find to be classless. A simple I won't be here and a new doctor will be assigned would have been not the best but would have stopped the surprise email I received hours later. Where ever he lands- stay away from him. Ask yourself the question- Am I getting the most accurate information or is he hiding something?"

If I was first seen by a fourth year Medical student who asked some general questions. Dr. Weiner then spent less than 10 minutes with me. In that time frame he acted like he knew my entire medical and social history. He was aggressive, condescending and he made me feel very uncomfortable. He did not complete a physical exam nor did he request any laboratory tests. He asked me a few questions and provided a prescription for a very expensive medecine. It was the worst experience I have had with a medical professional in my life. I will certainly not be returning to see him. If I could give him 0 stars for this review, I would.

Very impressed after my first visit with his comprehensive investigation of my history and symptoms, discussion of possible diagnoses and treatments. Frankly, I'm more informed than most patients about my own medical situation and possible treatments, so his bounty of information was welcome, but not all patients would welcome so much information so fast. This may account for some of the lower ratings. Nevertheless, he seems highly skilled at diagnosis and arriving at an appropriate treatment.

He said to me come in asap but has no idea y I came. I told him I had a problem. Been there for years and getting worse. He forgot I even told him. Then had found out by the er. It's a hernia from my colon. He said that's new. Lol I had it for years. He forgot. He told me go to the hospital and get it fixed. Thank god I did not I could have died. He never paid any attention to my problems or ex ray do to that. He ran 1 test. Never cared to find out the rest of what is wrong. And more.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. After having to wait a month for an appointment I went looking for help with my medical issue. He had no interest in my problem and made no attempt come up with a diagnosis. He was condescending and arrogant. He gave me a script for a very expensive medication that did not help me. It took a month to get the prior approval from the doctor's office for my insurance company to cover their portion. I am now back to square one.

All I can say is don't go there. If I could give negative stars, I would. I had an appointment scheduled and he did not show up to the office so I left. I suggest finding another physician. If a patient is late, appointment is cancelled and a no show fee, what is the accountability when the physician is a no-show? The staff is very nice, too bad they are not the providers.

This Doctor would rather talk for himself instead of listening to the patient. Met him today and found him shallow and hostile. Why bother with a know it all when you need someone to listen and work with you. I will be changing doctors and suggest anyone to broaden their search!

The office does not have regular hours. There is no way to leave a message. You can never reach anyone. Very unprofessional way to run an office. Also, called to make up a follow up appt and they told me Doctor is not seeing patients. They refused to give any time frame or reason of when he would be seeing patients again. Then my daughter keeps getting messages from their office to make an appt--but you can't with Dr. Weiner and they send you to some other unaffiliated doctor.

Worst Doctor I ever had. Never calls back. Still waiting after 9 months for test results despite numerous calls. Sends incomplete information to other doctors. Stay Away! Sorry I can't give negative stars.
