Before the surgery I felt like Dr. Brian Kim did a good job of explaining the necessity of the ablation surgery to me. It was designed to correct my atrial fibrillation. I had read that immediately after surgery most people felt better, so I proceeded with the operation. I was surprised to discover after the surgery that I felt worse. When I talked to him, he told me things were common that he definitely didn't tell me about during my thorough questioning before making the decision to have the surgery. When he said I needed a second surgery, I thought I'd better get a second opinion. When I did, I discovered that Dr. Kim's self-reported success rate was low and that it's not uncommon for Dr. Kim to perform 5 ablations on someone before getting it right. There are 4 pulmonary veins he attempted to isolate. He failed on all 4 of them. He also attempted to fix the atrial flutter in my right atrium, and failed to do that. The second ablation (with a new doctor) cured everything!

Dr. Brian Kim was very professional, personable, efficient, and accurate in diagnosing my medical condition. His surgical treatment (ablation) resolved my condition immediately and permanently. What else could one ask? He was fantastic!

He did a pacemaker surgery on me over three month ago. August 2018. He did not come and see me after the surgery and have not been able to see him sense. Been told he feels it not needed to see one after surgery. Have no clue what he did or anything. I would not see this DR of he feel he doen't need to do follow up appointment. I have no clue to if the device is working right for me. He has not take my blood pressure or checked my heart beat yet. Find a Dr that care about you. I tb

I first saw Dr Kim two years ago for a heart ablation. He treated me extremely well, answered all of my questions, and totally took care of my SVT episodes. I now am in constant afib and he is treating me for that. I am receiving the same outstanding care from him that I did two years ago. I have total trust and confidence in Dr Kim and am literally trusting him with my life. Dr Kim’s staff are also extremely friendly, competent, patient, and professional. Dr Kim and staff are the best.

He did cathether ablation to cure atrial flutter and he was very confident about it however it made worse my case. I am in more trouble now and have to look for other doctor because I am diagnosed with a-fib after ablation by Dr. Kim
