Dr. David Filsoof, MD

My only reservation is that his system for authorizing drug refills does not work well -- I have to follow up with his office to get them to respond to CVS requests.

If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Filsoof as your physician then you know what I mean. No one else goes the length for you as he does. He is certainly in demand and he is booked months out but makes time to call or accommodate you if an emergency. My mom was in the ER at 2 am and the doctor arranged for her to get expedited admission and came to visit us in the middle of the night and coordinated all her referrals. Thankfully after a few days she left the hospital and we had follow up in his office in 1 week to go over her medications and finish off her testing and its been 3 years she has maintained good health thanks to Dr. Filsoof and his staff

Patients travel from all over the country to have a consultation with this doctor and once I met him I understood why. He treats each patient as a whole and comes up with a unique treatment plan, he is realistic with goals and doesnt sugar coat things. He is honest and obviously hard working. He has great staff and his Partner Dr. Setareh is also wonderful.

Dr filsoof is the kindest doctor I met. He is busy and sought after but he makes time to explain your treatment plan and coordinates all your referrals and follow ups. He rounded on me every day at the hospital even late at night and even when the nurses woke him up in middle of night when I had chest pain he rushed to the hospital to see me.

I find it interesting that people really take the time to leave such negative remarks when they don't get what they want!- truly shows the LACK of understanding on their behalf with how much the medical system has changed. Dr. David Filsoof is an outstanding cardiologist, he is brilliant!!! He even went to Julliard so he's definitely NOT tone deaf and pays super close attention to detail. His specialty is Cardiology-But he is so great that people want him as a primary care doctor which in reality requires A LOT more attention and takes away from focusing on cardiology. Therefore he limits the number of Internal Medicine patients by having them join MDVIP which is a concierge-like membership program that allows him to focus on a group of patients and also can prioritize their needs. Not only are regular e-mails not a secure way to communicate with your MD but having the doctor's personal number IS GREEDY! MDVIP provides a HIPPA-encrypted portal that allows patient MD communication-

I have only had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Filsoof through way of telehealth. I live in Dallas, Tx. However, every time I speak with him, it feels like I am right there, in person. He moves fast because he is busy but he never rushes me. He always listens to what I have to say. He is thorough and never misses any details. Being a patient of Dr. Filsoof is the stand-out experience of my prolonged injury/illness. The professionalism, expertise and referral network have provided me with excellent care and treatment. It takes a rare physician with special commitment to make time for every patient, and to know how to treat the whole patient!

I started seeing Dr. Filsoof on the recommendation of my parents. At 50 and post-pandemic, I had a LOT of delinquent appointments and screenings. He helped prioritize all my care, set me up with a great team of specialists for regular testing and made sure I met my appointments and screenings, then followed up with me and all the docs. You can tell the other doctors really respect him. He's very knowledgable and current with his info. He moves fast (which I like), but you can also tell he really cares.

My visit was awesome. Super cool staff (Dr. Filsoof is really nice), took my insurance, presumably super helpful, and made me feel comfortable. It was after my visit that this Doctor's office became extremely hard to deal with. I have now been trying to get this bill taken care of by my insurance for FIVE MONTHS. The doctor's office has to submit this bill as a claim to my insurance and they FINALLY HAVE. After receiving a $1000 bill in the mail like ten times and making literally over 20 phone calls, my insurance has FINALLY gotten word from the doctor's office. What a nightmare this has been. The lady would tell me that she had reached out to my insurance, but my insurance kept telling me that they hadn't gotten word. SHADY ASFFF!!!!!

Dr. Filsoof is the best. He is caring and goes above and beyond. I appreciate the fact that I never have to wait. He listens and never rushes you. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Filsoof is great! I have used him twice now and will continue to do so. Very nice and provides fast results.
