Office took over 2 weeks to return first appointment call. I called multiple times. Today, again, impossible to reach by phone. Their apk doesn't work either. They don't answer the phone, they don't return calls. Flanagan and his perspective are arrogant towards patients.

One of the best Doctors I’ve seen in my 40 years. Of being a pain management patient I broke my back 40 years ago seven surgeries later, and now can walk but I have pain constantly.. Dr. Flanagan has helped me for the last few years since I’ve been seeing him be able to maintain a somewhat normal lifestyle for someone that had seven back surgeries and for neck surgeries. One of only two doctors who’s ever given me a nerve block or steroid injection in the nerve root that actually worked. This is the top-notch Dr I would recommend him to anyone who is dealing with pain, anxiety that pain brings, and not being able to function as a normal human being. Flanagan is a superstar. Unprofessional and inept
I had two appointments with this doctor during which he was dismissive did not address my issues made disparaging comments about my primary care physician, which is unprofessional, and when I left his practice, I obtained a copy of my records which showed he documented me as a long-term and current opiate drug user, which is completely untrue as proven by my medical records, my pharmacy records, and the state opiate registry I have submitted a complaint to the medical board about him, and I recommend you do not use him as a physician. He is not able to make a sound judgment about his patients.

Dr. Flanagan is awesome!
Dr. Flanagan has worked so hard for me, helping me with a number of problems I’ve had. He’s so caring and I love his dry sense of humor. He’s GREAT!

After two appointments, Dr. Flanagan passed me off to his PA who had to look up my neurological disorder on the internet in front of me, because she didn't know what it was. Provided zero confidence that I was being treated correctly.

I've been going to Flanagan for some 10 years and if I get the courage to find another pain physician, I will. Flanagan is not a caring person. He will not renew my prescriptions until I go in and take a test to see if I am taking my medications or giving them away. This, when coronavirus surge in Dallas, Texas to a place never seen. He couldn't care less. My primary care physician isn't requiring me to come and do a medication test until after this surge dies down. I take the CII drugs from my primary care physician, too. FIND ANOTHER PHYSICIAN, HE'S NOT WORTH IT.

I would not recommend Dr. Brian Flanagan. He spent maybe 2 minutes before my procedure and did not see him afterwards. It takes weeks and multiple calls for someone to call you back to make an appointment. If you are in pain you don't have weeks to sit around waiting to be called back. Dr.Flanagan's office also don't tell you the cost of the procedure until after you had it. They told me my procedure was covered by insurance. They did not tell me the testing of the nerve in muscle and the monitoring of the nervous system was not covered by my insurance. Dr. Flanagan was recommended by 2 highly respected doctors, but I won't be seeing him again. Peak Health Surgicare where Flanagan does his procedures does not care about COVID. They don't have chairs marked off, they don't have a clean and dirty pens containers and the bathroom was dirty. I never saw anyone clean a seat once someone left the waiting room.

I've never been so angry and so humiliated when trying to visit a doctor. I have 2 broken vertebra on L4 and L5 and have been seeing a pain management doctor for 8 years. I had my records sent but no one called to confirm they received them or to schedule a new patient appointment. Finally someone said they'd be scheduling an injection, w/o an appointment or exam because he "declined to see me" since "I mentioned I would need my prescription refilled." So you won't see people on long-term meds?

I was originally assigned to a doctor that was leaving the location who didn't really listen. Then, I was assigned to a Dr Flanagan who I liked . When I went to make another appointment, I was told I had been assigned to a new doctor that they had hired. I asked to be seen by previous doctor as I had a good relationship with him and I was told that I could not see my other doctor because I was assigned to this new person that I did not consent to and I am very unhappy because I want Dr Flanagan

I saw Dr. Flannigan my first visit over 2 years ago then after that it was always a PA or Nurse Practioner. The office receptionists are rude and the medication refill line takes over a week for refills. I was on oxy and several times went through withdrawals because they didn’t get RX in on time! This last time they would not refill my RX because I had moved out of town and couldn’t get back for my 3 month appt. They cut me off completely with nothing to help withdrawals!

I’ve been pleased with Dr. Flanagan. He’s incredibly attentive, and I can tell he really cares about his patients. His staff, from the receptionists to his med assistant are rude, callous, and tell you they’ve passed on messages to him when they haven’t. It took me nearly 2 weeks to receive any meds, because no one was telling him I’d been calling about them. Even my psych called to tell them I needed the meds, (not only the narcotic!) suffering, and in crisis! Wonderful doctor, abysmal staff.

Dr. Flanagan and the entire doctor's group and PAs are great. They understand chronic pain, and will work with you to find what works for you. There are no "right" solutions for treating chronic pain, and the causes and physiology of every patient are different. I know of no better place in Dallas for treating chronic pain. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
