Dr. Brian Engebrecht, MD

Office caters to men. I felt my concerns were dismissed by Dr. Engebretch as female with the procedure I had performed in office. I would not recommend women to him.

I have never had any problems with the doctors themselves at this office, but they have the most incompetent staff I have ever encountered. I have one long term prescription through this office and every year when I run out of refills and need to get it renewed, I have to make at least a dozen phone calls to my insurance and this office. When I call this office nothing ever gets accomplished over the phone. I have had to go to the office in person. Dr. Engebrecht now has a new nurse that is unfamiliar with my past issues. They recently remodeled the waiting room so that it is separated by a door from the rest of the facility, and there is no longer any chance of speaking to a knowledgeable individual. The new receptionist behind the counter was not very reassuring. I went there two days ago. She took a message that has gone unanswered. I call today, another message that I don’t expect to be answered. Always more questions than answers. Finding another urologist.

Office lost records and discovered, in their eyes I wasnt a patient, but never called my pharacy to state that, just never returned their requests to refill my prescription. Had to call nuimerous times to get a response, then a week or so later they found my records. Prescription refills normally take 3 or more calls from my local pharmacy and couple or more myself to get refilled. Office normally doesnt answer, return calls or voice mails that are left during office hours. Refills are normally a daily reachout by my local pharmacy and myself that takes a week or two each time. Have been waiting and requesting a follow-up appointment that was supposed to happen just prior to Covid outbreak and have requested it a few times along the way (today is 10/29/2021 for reference), still no follow-up appointment. Not happy with customer care or service, glad I dont have a REAL problem, an EMERGENCY at hand or need any results in a timely manner.

While visiting family in quad cities Illinois I had a left pelvic kidney that had died & was decaying on me. Admitted to the hospital Dr. Engebrecht was called in. My kidney was under 10% function which is "always removed". Instead of removing it he preformed unnecessary procedures that caused me severe internal bleeding which he did nothing. He tore me up so bad that I cannot be intimate, I am in horrific constant pain, I loss good use of my left leg & my right kidney was permanently damaged
