Dr. Gershbaum took care of my adult brother, who is developmentally disabled. He was very compassionate and extremely responsive to our questions. He responded really quickly to our messages on Mychart and even called us a few times to follow up. He explained everything clearly and was overall, just outstanding. I can't imagine working with a better, more expert and compassionate Urologist than Dr. Gershbaum!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!
This doctor prescribed the wrong antibiotic for my dad, did not bother to follow up on urine culture results and kept him on the wrong antibiotic for several weeks. He also recommended a prostate biopsy without following up on results. Despite this enormous mistake, he had not decency. He is quite rude and does not even apologize for this!! If I could give negative stars in a review, I would!!!!

Dr Gershbaum has been treating me for Bladder Cancer for about one year. He is absolutely incredible. He is up-to-date on all diagnostic testing and treatments. He is very thorough; carefully read all my previous operative and pathology reports. Orders tests not usually ordered. I could go on and on. This expert knowledge is coupled with a humanity and concern not often seen anymore.

He is one of the nicest doctors that I've ever met. I went to him for consultation after a CT scan. He is kind, explained very clearly and in detail what my condition is and what are my options of handling it, and what he suggested is the best and why. Even though I will not need his expertise (thank God), I am grateful to have his advice and will recommend him highly to my friends and family.

Ten years ago Dr. Gershbaum saved my life
Large mass on left kidney encapsulated- he did it laparoscopically and there is so little scarring it’s ridiculous. See him every year and we both break out in a huge grin as soon as we see each other.
He went right out to the waiting room and informed my wife of the success

Dr. Gershbaum removed 30% of my kidney due to cancer. The first doctor I went to wanted to remove the whole thing. For this I am ever grateful. He is extremely attentive calling at any hour if there is important news for his patient. You feel that he really cares about you. He is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of using.

Dr. Gershbaum performed Davinci robotic prostatectomy surgery for me and he is the finest, most brilliant surgeon one could ask for. He is caring, concerned, and genuine. His love for his profession is only overshadowed by his love for his patients. His skill is unmatched in this area, and I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
