Dr Curtin is absolutely the best
He and his staff were very thorough in assessing a new hip issue. He previously and successfully did a complex knee revision. I will only consider Dr Curtin for future knee or hip issues.

Time for Side Two for Hip Replacement
Telehealth
Dr. Curtin was open, personable, and involved with my visit. He fully explained the current issues involving my left hip. This was not my first experience with Dr. Curtin. Approximately 10 years ago he replaced my right hip. The long-term outcome of the implant 10 years ago has been great. Old age and father time now necessitates a return visit and surgery.

Dr. Curtin was recommended by my PCP. He did 2 knee replacements 3 months apart. I'm 60. Wish I had done it at 50.

Revision surgery on knee.
Dr. Curtin was top notch. Always answered my questions and explained everything fully. He checked on my progress post-surgery at least three times before discharge. Post-op visits were scheduled easily.

Excellent care
I visited Dr Curtain this week and again he was very courteous and respectful. Instead of osteoarthritis of my hip as diagnosed by my family doctor, his impression was bursitis and Recommended IT band stretches and Volarán Gel to the affected area. I was quite surprised that my family doc had stated that my hip X-rays looked horrible! Dr Curtain said my X-rays were normal! Thank Goodness I will not have to have a Total Hip replacement. At least not for now. I’m very happy with the outcome and have highly recommended Dr Curtain to my family and friends. I trust his decision explicitly.

Dr Curtin did my first replacement surgery in 2016. I breezed through it well. In 2023 I fell and needed the other hip replaced. Another very qualified surgeon did that operation. A few months later I was having some issues with the new surgery. I opted to contact Dr Curtin fur a second opinion . He reassured me all was well. I have referred several people with hip and knee problems to Dr Curtin and will continue to do so.He is very kind, extremely knowledgable , and skilled at his profession.I would not hesitate to contact Dr Curtin again if need be.

Dismissed
I saw Dr Curtin. It was my first time seeing him. He was 45 min behind schedule. Then he spent about 10 min with me. I got an MRI prior to my appointment and he didn't acknowledge it. He didn't review the results of the MRI at all. I'm not even sure if he looked at it. He looked at his Xray. I have a lot of pain and he didn't really listen to me. He sent me away with a script for anti inflammatory for 3 months. The MRI mentioned a lot of issues including labral tearing. I felt dismissed and left with many questions unanswered.

Arrogant!
Dr. Curtin seemed not at all interested in helping me. He had a very arrogant personality and I did not feel respected. I asked if PT would help and he said yes but he failed to give me an order. He also did not offer a cortisone injection even though he knew I had pain in my knee. I felt like he was rushing to get out of the room so I asked him a few important questions since he didn't answer any. I then asked when i should see him again and i got the death stare as he answered, 'as needed.' Message received Doc! No way I will be back as i do not trust this guy.

Pick someone else
He appeared very disinterested in me and had not bothered to read up on my case. I understand he sees many patients a day, at least he could skim over more complex cases. When I mentioned neuropathy he acted as if he didn’t know what that was. Once he pulled up my records & saw I had been a of Masonis he really began to back pedal. He also acted very aloof.
