Dr. Bradley Kunz, MD

Dr. Kunz has been my primary care physician for 25 years. He listens well, is patient, and has insightful answers to my many questions. He has relocated and his office is now an hour from my home. It is worth the drive to continue as his patient.

Came in with throat sinus issues. He did not approach me. Did not ask me to open my mouth, didn't check my throat, didn't feel it or touch me at all. He didn't check my nose. He then prescribed for me an antibiotic to which I am allergic, said he thought I should take it anyway. Not a good experience.

I am 64 years old and have never done this in my life, nor imagined doing it, but I just walked out in the middle of my first appointment with Dr. Kunz, which was supposed to be a yearly physical. I was telling him that I was concerned over being taken off a medication cold turkey, via a message from the receptionist. I did not like that I hadn't been warned of the possible side effects of such a sudden exit and that no one even suggested I come in to discuss other options. Dr. Kunz was surly and responded, 'Fine. You want to make an appointment to discuss options?' Continuing, he said, 'You're a big boy. You know how to make an appointment.' At that point, I knew this was not a person interested in my health, so I left.

I've had much better physicians over the years. He listens okay, but is constantly pushing diet drinks and so forth. Office staff could be better, but his nurse is okay. He and his staff weren't too bad until recently, I had a free wellness check that I was charged over $140 for after insurance copay. They refuse to compromise or fix the issue and I will end up eating the cost. Dr Kunz never advised me that some of the stuff we discussed would cost me an extra appointment! I don't know who to blame here the office or him; either way I'm am leaving the practice.

Was not impressed with Dr. Kunz, maybe I've just had excellent doctors in the past. He did have some good ideas but I have never had a doctor push switching to diet soda like this. He stressed things in my medical history that haven't been an issue for me in years and wanted to change my meds, ultimately he didn't. He didn't listen to my concerns as well as I thought he would considering his five star review. Both of my previous doctors were much better than Dr. Kunz.
