Documented Assessments He DIDN'T Perform
I was blown away that DrB didn't look in my nose or throat and no one took a BP or took any other vitals. I actually called several friends and told them about it. Even wrote a blog about it. Requested a copy of my records, bec. I would never go back and for another ENT, and he documented that he had looked in my nose and mouth, and listened to my heart and respirations. He never put a stethoscope to my body. He ONLY looked in my ears.He told me I had a perforated eardrum but documented 'TMs intact with no perforations'. He also never washed his hands. He called in a prescription that he never told me about and never documented in his notes. His documentation is a lie. And he is a poor physician. I do not recommend.I am reporting to state medical board

THYROIDECTOMY DIDN'T GO WELL
About 20 years ago Dr. Bateman removed my thyroid and ssured me everything went very well and no issues. I was to stay in the hospital overnight, the next morning my face was numb and drawn, my hands were seized up. Of course I was like wth is going on and they said calcium causes thi. They called Dr. Bateman and he came in and reasured me that he saw the parathyroid and it was perfectly intact. He told me that sometimes blood flow to the gland is compromised during the surgery and it would pick back up within a week or so. Well it didn't and I had my first of 57 iv's for a calcium and potassium infusion. I went back to have my stitches removed from my neck, he wouldn't even come in and speak with me. He had his nurse practitioner come in and rove the stitches and le me know that I would need to have calcium and potassium every single day. Continued on next review.

Dr. Bateman's office is where I go when I have a specific ent problem. I skip the General Physician and go straight here. It usually saves me on copays because he gets it right the first time.

Dr. Bateman is the only ENT my family will use. He done tonsil removal on two of my sons. He also done tubes in my youngest son. Then when my youngest son was having nose bleeds he put a graft in to get his nose to stop bleeding. Dr. Bateman and his staff are wonderful.
