I used this clinic because they offered free ultrasounds (I was waiting on my insurance) and the sonographer did an ultrasound at 4 weeks, said she couldn’t see the fetal pole yet cause it was too small. Asked me to go back for a repeat ultrasound in 2 weeks. I go in there in 2 weeks and the sonographer was like (the sac looks like it hasn’t grown much and no heartbeat) then looks some more and says I saw a flicker maybe (I saw it too) she stopped the ultrasound and left the room and talked to the dr. Dr Weidaw comes in and shows no sympathy or explanation but says “yea your baby is not gonna make it” I asked if she was sure and she chuckled and says “I wouldn’t tell u this if I wasn’t sure) again mind you, she didn’t rescan me or mention the flicker. I go home and my bf and I are heartbroken. I make an appointment to see my Dr for another ultrasound (the very next day) and low and behold there is a heartbeat!!! My Dr said she was glad I didn’t take the meds to “get rid” of my baby.
