Dr. Bennett Goss, MD

Want to leave 5 ?????????? stars but this would not let me!?! Terrific doctor. Wish he’d go back to GP but believe he does ER now.

Dr. Goss was the best primary case doctor I’ve ever had, one of the few who actually takes the time to read up on a patient’s history before attending to the patient. Unfortunately, he left the practice I was visiting, and I have been unable to locate his new location. I wish he would come back, I’d travel a distance to meet him. His former front office staff have not been helpful in finding solutions at all

Both me and my husband’s got canceled appointments a few times for Dr. Goss. As of last week we’re not able to get an appointment with any other Dr. from that office staff or any others in the area. For now we both with appointments overdue and have no idea where to find a good doctor and the office wasn’t to helpful to find a solution. I wish he comes back soon, We would like to continue with Dr. Goss, he is a great Dr.

The appointment I made nine months ago was canceled 9 days prior my appointment date. I went to Dr. Goss’ W. Hartford HHC office to reschedule. The nasty woman at the front desk informed me that Dr. Goss was out on a "medical leave". She would not offer a date as to when he would return. (I am doubtful that he is still with HHC). Hartford Health Care handed me a sheet of paper with other Doctors to chose from and told me to go online or call one of the Doctors listed to reschedule. In one month, I will be seeing my new GP Doctor. According to her profile she graduated from school all of 14 months ago. Needless to say, my expectations are not high. Thank you Hartford Health Care, for permanently errasing any delusions that I may have had, that HHC cared about my wellbeing. I’ll take the new appointment only until I can find a new GP Doctor (outside the HHC network!!!).

Dr. Goss is okay as a doctor, but the office is not well run. I have been trying to get a physical since the summer and my appointments are constantly getting cancelled. I understand Dr. Goss was out on FMLA, but the office should have taken care of his patients in the meantime. When I explained I needed a physical for insurance purposes, they were unconcerned and rude about it. I did my due diligence and now my premiums may go up because they left Dr. Goss' patients out to dry while he was on leave. Very unprofessional. Hopefully none of his patients have conditions that are being neglected because they cannot get an appointment! I am very unhappy and looking for a new doctor with a more competent office staff.

Please stay away from the office of Dr. Bennett Goss at all costs ~ you will be extremely disappointed & never obtain care as a new patient! Dr. Goss will keep cancelling your appointments repeatedly & it is virtually impossible to ever get through to the office. You shall only reach an off site Customer Service Dept. that is utterly uninformed ~ non caring ~ unkind & often cruel & extremely unprofessional! I held on for 2 hrs. to get through only to be transferred to a recorded survey line! The Office cancelled our appointment three times & no one in the Office knows what the other is doing! The same thing happened to our dear friend! It is such an extremely heartbreaking thing to become associated with this office with not ever being able to get through via phone ~ nor received medical care! Please avoid ~ so the same thing doesn't happen to you!

Dr Goss is my primary care provider, He's is the best he listen to your concerns and shows intrest .

After first meeting with Dr. Goss in April '21, I felt comfortable in deciding that I wanted him as my primary care provider. He was easy to talk with and I sensed that he understood why I was searching for another care provider. I have since had appointments with him on two occasions and have continued to see that he is caring, understanding and wants the best for me as a patient.

While my PCP was on maternity leave, I was blessed to see Dr. Goss in the office twice. He is a fantastic communicator and great listener. Having come from a physician family and worked in healthcare myself, I highly recomend Dr. Goss.

Dr Goss is a doctor the way a doctor should be. He is a real advocate for his patient. He honestly cares and will do his best for his patient. He listens, talks with not at his patient. If you need a primary care doctor, you will not find a better doctor. His medical assistant Marcia is phenomenal as well. This is a one-in-a-million office. Call them. You will not be disappointed.

My visit was excellent from walking in to going out. The office is done very well and taken care of . The staff and Dr. Goss deserve a top rating for their professionalism.

Preop physical with an unknown MD, surprisingly comfortable and unrushed!

I was given an appointment with Dr. Goss on an urgent basis since I was experiencing severe pain over a span of several days. I found Dr. Goss to be caring and responsive to my situation. He explained everything to me and my husband and answered all our questions. The medications he prescribed and instructed me how to take helped significantly. I highly recommend him .

He is very caring physician

Dr Goss was the attending physician at Norwalk hospital ER I fell down a flight of stairs and had severe back rib pain,as well as a lacerated elbow, incurred breaking the fall. Dr Goss was not only very thorough in coming up with a strategy to check my condition, but he was very thorough in explaining it ,and potential courses of action based on the results. He was spot on with his diagnosis-broken ribs/ lung collapse, and presented his findings in a very personal way. Unique individual.
