Dr. Benjamin Silver, MD

I met with Dr. Silver after consults with 2 other surgeons (both great) in referrence to a hip replacement. He was the only anterior approach. Dr. Silver won me from the start! He is kind, patient and direct. There was no guessing or uncertainty. He was very knowledgeable and explained things to me in a way I would grasp without hesitation. No question was unwelcome and my appointment wasn't over until I felt that they were. My surgery was amazing. His team is great! Healing was great and I am on my way to living the life that eluded for me so long. He truly changed things for me overnight. Forever grateful.

Dr Silver was referred to me by a friend who knew 2 people that had hip surgery by him and all went very well. 1st appointment he was very calming and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Dr Silver made me feel comfortable right from the start. I had a second appointment with him to ask even more questions and it was another good informative appointment. Dr Silver let me decide to have the surgery and did not push me at all. To me: It was all about 'quality of life' I want to walk the beaches and enjoy walks with my family and friends!!! I stayed active and did my before surgery exercises every day and followed the before and after surgery details as directed! I had in home and now out patient physical therapy every week. I am 6 weeks after surgery and I am enjoying life just as planned with no pain!! Stay focused and you will succeed!!!

No problem with appointments. Staff very friendly and helpful at Hudson office. Answered all my questions. Asked if I had questions. Friendly and, I thought , very knowledgeable. This is my second hip replacement with him. Am recovering from the second one very well. First one, I was back to work in 8 weeks. I think he did an excellent job.

Very professional and caring his skill is exceptional and you can tell he wants the best for you.

I was a patient of Dr. Silver for a number of years. I started with him due to hip pain post surgery. After years of pain, and no solution with other doctors, Dr. Silver investigated my issue and determined I needed a revision which he performed perfectly. He also did a knee replacement. Dr. Silver researched the records from my original hip surgery 10 yrs. before. He is thorough, highly skilled and professional with compassion and kindness. I sent 2 of my friends to him. The only reason I lunhappily left his practice is because I moved out of the area. I cannot say enough about thiws wonderful doctor/surgeon!

HE DOES A GREAT JOB BOTH ON HIPS AND KNEES, FAR BETTER THAN THE CLEVELAND CLINIC.....ALSO TAKES THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE DETAILS AND TREATS YOU WITH RESPECT. ITS NICE TO FINALLY FIND A DR. YOU CAN TRUST.

I would not recommend Dr. Silver to anyone. I regret not seeking out a more experienced orthopedic doctor.

He’s a nice guy but thanks to him I am three months into an injury and finally getting answers from a different doctor who was willing to do an MRI right away rather than wait six months to see if I still had pain. I could be nearly healed by now instead I am just getting a surgery date with an outlook of at least two more months off work.

Don't see him at the Geauga office!!! I approached the desk when I walked in and one of the people asked to help me. I thought I'd been signed in, but apparently, SHE 'doesn't do Dr. Silver' and never told anyone I was there! After waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes, I finally got my 10 minutes with Dr. Silver. He was pleasant enough. I left with a PT script and was told I could pickup my meds in an hour. 4 hours later, I had to call to have the med script called in. Him, ok. Geauga, no way!!

Phenomenal young surgeon. Best decision I ever made was to get a total knee replacement by this skilled Orthopedic. Genuinely caring and always available to his patient. He even responded to my conern by phone on a Sunday! Just like the old days!

I was thrilled to find out that Dr. Silver is trained in the latest techniques for hip replacement. My recovery has been speedy and pain free and I believe this is due to Dr. Silver's skills. He has been very professional in all encounters, always asking if there is anything else he can do for me. The whole experience was so much better than I could have imagined.
