Cancer removed fast.
I was referred to Dr. Lee's office with renal cell carcinoma. The Dr. Lee and his staff got me in for an appointment fast and I was able to get in for partial nephrectomy within 30 days. Surgery went very smooth and they were able to remove the entire tumor. I am very happy with the service and support with Dr. Lee and his staff.

Excellent Doctor~ Well Run clinic
Dr. Lee performed Robotic Surgery on my husband who had advanced Prostate Cancer. We were so pleased to get in with such a skilled surgeon. He was kind, informative and is talented. We felt very comfortable having Dr. Lee , Everyone on Dr. Lee's team was extremely helpful and kind. A special shout out to Ken who does the scheduling. He was wonderful about getting back to us with any questions we had. We feel truly blessed to have found Dr. Lee and would highly recommend to anyone who is in the same situation as we were. The Urology center at Banner is an A plus!

Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Renal Cancer Removal
I am a retired physician and had a renal mass found on a CT scan performed for an unrelated issue. I went to see Dr Lee at Banner Univ of AZ, as he was one of only 4 urologists performing the recommended Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy for this condition in Tucson. During my visit he reviewed my CT scan and noted that the size of the mass was estimated using only two of the three dimensions of the CT data and that my mass was actually larger in the third dimension than reported by the radiologist. His office arranged to have all my preop tests performed on the date of my visit so I would not need to return to Tucson prior to Surgery. A slot opened up earlier than my surgery date and Dr. Lee's team got me admitted two weeks earlier as all my labs were done. The surgery was completed without any issues and I was discharged the next day. I have not had any postop issues. Dr Lee and his staff provided some of the best medical care that I have ever received.

Cancer Center made me an Urgent Visit with Lee due to my history of multiple bouts of High Grade Urological Carcinoma in Situ. 2 days prior to visit he cancelled it without communicating back to me! Please be careful!

Had a prostate biopsy and the recovery was incredibly quick. Almost no discomfort or pain afterwards and in the days following. Much better than my previous biopsy at a different urologist a few years back. I was miserable for a week after that one.

Waited a month and a half for the visit, then we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes, never saw Dr. Lee! (I told them I was in pain, they left me in a very uncomfortable chair.) I need a Urologist who is interested in helping me, so we will look for another Urologist who wants to work!

Unhappy with their service! – Jun 03, 2020

Dr. Lee performed surgery on my mom, he removed one of her kidneys because of kidney cancer and although my mom is recuperating well, his bedside manner is the worst, my mom was to be transferred to a rehab facility following surgery and that wasnt done as fast as he wanted I guess... he was upset that my mom hadnt left the hospital and in his rant stated that it wasnt fair to the other patients ... I guess the “other” patients were his priority. At that point I understood how ill equipped this person is in his empathy towards people that are dealing with a devastating diagnosis... if you want a humane doctor, you will have to look elsewhere!

Dr. Lee recently operated on my prostrate for a cancer my regular MD found this past spring. I talked to several doctors here in Tucson and after consulting with Dr Lee I was finally confident in the outcome. I had never had major surgery before, and at 64 felt nervous to say the least. Surgery day comes fast and was very anxious, the anesthesiologist, and ER nurse got me calm and finally asleep. The whole experience from pre-testing to release a day after the surgery was amazing.

Dr. Lee was an amazing surgeon whose gentle bedside manner made me feel very comfortable. I was told my entire kidney had to be removed, but after Dr. Lee reviewed my CT scan, he told me he could save half my kidney. His experience and professional made the trip to University of Arizona worth it. I'm now a cancer survivor thanks to Dr. Lee, he is the best part of Banner University Medical Center. I came to Tucson with cancer, and went home cancer free!

I had been a patient of the Dr Lee replaced. Our first meeting, he said " I had a chance to review to review your chart". I would have thought more than a chance would have been appropriate, since I'm a cancer patient. He offered surgery which I declined He seemed insulted I said no! I had waited to be seem for 1:10 mins and he graciously allowed me 10 mins of his time. He might be a good Dr but his manner was a complete turnoff. I have since sought care elsewhere, and much better treated!

I was referred to Dr. Lee by a relative who knows oncology. Dr. Lee was recommended and he had met two important requirements I was told to ask about. 1. He had performed over 1000 of the surgeries, 2. his rate of complication was extremely low and his proficiency rate was very high. I am told Dr. Lee studied under the physician who wrote the laparoscopic procedure that we know as Da Vinci robotics. Dr. Lee and the staff at Tulane Medical center did an outstanding job.

Good not have been more pleased. Dr. Lee has wonderful bedside manners and very personal with patients. He was truly a gift from God. He explains things to you and and all questions. My husband would not be here today if it was not the expertise of Dr. Lee on kidney surgery. My husband is living on a half of one kidney. He just got his 5 year check-up and doing well. i would highly recomend him .
