This “doctor” decided to clear a 78 year old man after 6 days in the hospital to go home. He was in the ICU with sepsis, multi-organ failure, a GI bleed and more. Our father rebounded medically, but he was / is so weak he could not even pull himself up on his own. He shakily walked a hallway, so he was “ready” to go home, no in between rehab and/or care. Dad went to the ER on a Sunday in critical condition and was admitted to the ICU. He spent days in the ICU and then was moved to ICU overflow. He never saw a recovery room. He was released the next Sunday evening and is now back in the hospital, Tuesday morning, after a fall and confusion. He does not have dementia. Dad’s new doc was shocked that he was released in the first place without rehab. This doctor was condescending and would not let anyone finish a sentence before he started speaking over top of us. He consistently cut us off rudely with excuses and blaming insurance, yet our dad is covered. Zeros in all areas.
