Dr. Behzad Soufer, DO

So I came in and the guy sent me to get blood work done but, doesn’t tell me what I need done.

Do NOT go to this doctor. I went to him 2 weeks ago for a physical. Many blood tests were conducted. Having one physical a year, it is understandably stressful waiting for results. I know (now) that the office received results 3 days after i was in the office. I never received a call, and calls to the office went unreturned. Yesterday, a front desk woman called me to tell me that I would have to PAY FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT to find out my results, and that the doctor would not be able to call me. Additionally, the doctor had "concerns". Imagine the stress. A follow up call from a doctor to discuss results is not only expected, but obligatory. It is then my decision to go back. I actually had to call the lab (Quest) and jump through 15 hoops to get results directly and then have another doctor look at them for me. Imagine that! And the front desk woman said she "didn't appreciate" me challenging her and asking why i needed him to call me. This is an assembly line doctor office. No care.

Dr Soufer's office is very unprofessional, he send me to run some tests and he supposed to get back to me with the test results letting me know what's happening. I called the office to ask about the results and the front desk told me the doctor would call me in 2 days... Well, I never received a call back, then I called them again and the front desk was very unprofessional saying the doctor isn't in the office and he would call me back, never called back. I called them again and same story.:((((

My wife and I were both looking for a primary care doctor around our neighborhood and when we found Dr. Soufer we looked no further. We were both amazed at the level of ease he puts you in. He is hands down the warmest, most caring, and most capable Family Doctor we've met. The nurses and staff are great too. I can't recommend him enough.
