Don’t question her
She ignored my abnormal labs and never offered any form of treatment for my Sjögren’s and probable vasculitis. She then told me to get a second opinion for questioning her.

My primary care doctor recently gave me a referral to see a rheumatologist. Since I had seen Dr. Ware in the past, I had the referral sent to her office. I was informed by the office staff that I would be considered a new patient due to the date of my last visit. The office staff was very nice and said they would relay the information to Dr. Ware then get back to me to schedule an appointment. When I received the call back, I was told that Dr. Ware said "nothing had changed, so I did not need to be seen". I can not recommend a doctor that makes such an assessment without seeing the patient.

I’ve suffered from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since the age of 2 back in 1970. I had a remission period early adulthood but the disease came back in 97. That’s when I started seeing Dr. Ware. She goes above and beyond to ensure the needs of her patients. My doctor since 1997. Very thorough and great listener. Not sure why anyone would rate Dr. Ware less than 5 stars.

Initially I would have given Dr Ware 5 stars. She went above and beyond. When she couldnt find a diagnosis, although I still am having increasing problems, she completely dismissed me. No yearly monitoring or any suggestions. Her helpful friendly caring demeanor did a complete 180, which was even more upsetting after feeling like she truly cared.

Dr Ware is extremely intelligent, considerate, and willing to take all the time you need to explain all that is necessary (and some things that are not) regarding the treatment of your disease. She does not jump to conclusions but rather takes the time to explore the details of your symptoms to ascertain the appropriate treatment. Also, she LISTENS and does not have her head buried in her computer. Additionally, she is respectful of your time, (I have never experienced a wait longer than 10 minutes) and financial concert regarding your medication. I HIGHLY recommend her

I have been seeing Dr. Ware for 14 years and have found her to be an excellent physician. I have complete confidence in her diagnostic skills and treatment. She spends more than enough time with me and has been very responsive when I recently had an urgent need. Her nursing staff are excellent as well and the office staff is friendly and responsive.

I've been seeing Dr. Ware for RA for 6 years. She is a superb doctor, caring and concerned, and spends as much time with you as you need. I am stunned at some of the negative reviews here. One of my RA medications caused a serious attack on my lungs, and it was her quick action that turned the situation around from what could have been life-threatening. I communicate with her through MyChart, and she is always very quick to respond to any of my questions. I would recommend her to anyone.

My wife was seeing Dr Ware because she has a couple of autoimmune diseases. I had an accident that needed medical attention. Because of this my wife missed her appointment. She thought it was the next week. Because of this Dr Ware FIRED her. I would consider this an action of calousness and arrogance. We will never recommend this Dr.

Although Dr. Ware is a highly competent physician, she lacks compassion regarding the difficulty in managing illness as a single parent. She does not understand how busy I am in caring for my son, who also has serious health issues, and how that affects my condition. Dr. Ware focuses only on the physical not on me as a person. Her bedside manner is lacking.
