Disrespectful and confrontational
Telehealth
I recently moved to Texas and established care with Dr. Abid. I have a chronic illness, and the doctor treating it has since retired. I have had a flare in my condition, and asked Dr. Abid to prescribe a gentle and safe medication (not a controlled substance, nothing addictive, an antiviral medication). It was a bizarrely confrontational appointment, where she even indirectly accused me of making up this condition that I have had since I was 13 (and told her about on our first appointment). I asked her to write the prescription because it will be about 8 months until I can meet a qualified specialist, and I'm concerned about asking a new PCP for this prescription as she is my established PCP. She told me she would write the prescription if I could get session notes from the previous doctor. I told her I would happily do that, it's well documented. After the call I get a note that she has dropped me as a patient. I now have no PCP, no help, and was treated with disrespect for no reason

I was admitted into the hospital to the where she was the doctor i was stuck with. She was very rude, disrespectful, uncaring, and has a very bad bed side manner. She didn’t take what the neurologist recommendations nor did she care on how I felt or my concerns. The neurologist wanted me to stay there longer but she just wanted me released from the hospital. They wanted me tested for ms and she didn’t even care. She didn’t care that my vertigo causes me to have sensitivity to light and got mad, unprofessional, and was rude to me just because I always had the lights off. I had a very bad experience being admitted to the hospital because of her. I hope with me writing this review others with think twice about her and hope she don’t treat others how she treated me. How she treated me was very wrong on her part and she shouldn’t be allowed to treat people like that. She is a doctor but that don’t make her better then us.
