Doesn't work with fat people
I asked the office several times before going there if they work with obese patients and was told they do. Went to the office and they did a bunch of xrays, and then saw the doctor. The doctor asked some questions and said without looking at my xrays he can tell I need to have my knee replaced but I need to lose 120 pounds before he would do it. Then offered a pain shot but said it probably won't do anything. Total waste of my time.

Poor experience
In a seven minute visit Dr. Seidenstein checked his watch 3 times. During his manual examination he handled the hip so aggressively the pain was considerably worse for about a week. I would not recommend Dr. Seidenstein.

Comprehensive and Professional
I am a middle aged but active person who has a couple of hobbies that have been affected by a medial meniscus tear and arthritis. In my experience, Dr Seidenstein has listened to my concerns and needs, explained options clearly, and been honest. So far we seem to be moving in the right direction. Nothing bothers me more than an orthopedist who tells a patient to “stop doing it” when you say an activity causes pain. If I wanted to stop doing the things I love then I wouldn’t seek out medical help. So, kudos to Dr Seidenstein for understanding that not all of us want to find new hobbies or give up what we love without a little bit of a fight.

Dr. Sidenstein is highly regarded by many!
The call center was very helpful. I needed an appointment on the same day I called cause I was in excruciating pain from my knee. I was able to be seen by Dr. Sidenstein. The front desk staff was amazing. One of the staff members got up immediately to help me check-in practically at the door cause she could see how I was walking. The X-Ray technician was friendly and took his time to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Dr. Sidenstein listened, reviewed my X-Ray and gave me a shot. I left walking better and in less pain. I recommend Dr. Sidenstein!

Dr Seidenstein is amazing !
Dr Seidenstein is amazing! In the 5+ years I’ve been seeing him for my knee, I have never had such a kind and compassionate human being, worry about what I wanted. I’m doing everything I can to avoid surgery because of the time off work and the deductible, he gives me my Visco supplementation injections every six months and ask how I’m doing and treats me with enormous respect ! He knows that seeing needles makes me a little nauseous so he has me lie down so he can put it in and I can’t see the needle. It’s easy and painless !

Excellence.
In meeting with Dr. Ari Seidenstein at Rothmans in June '21, (after meeting with three other orthopedic surgeons), I had a clear way forward to have bi-lateral knee replacement surgery. He gave me complete confidence to replace both knees at the same time. He was crystal clear about what to expect before/after surgery and the entire recovery process. The surgery was a complete success and I'm back to playing golf and tennis again. The entire Rothmans pre/post op process and administration was very smooth and professional. Dr. Seidenstein's team of PA's were also very instrumental in my post-op visits and progress feedback. The Rothman's patient service orientation, schedule flexibility and friendliness throughout was world class! I'm extremely grateful for Dr. Seidenstein's professionalism and knowledge. He's a game changer and I've got my active, sporty life back now six months after surgery!

Disappointing! During my first two visits (about a year ago) with Dr. Seidnestein, he explained my condition and recommended a plan of action. Since my discomfort / pain returned, I visited him again yesterday for the third time. This time I was disappointed: • First, he had not read the chart before seeing me and had no idea that I had seen him for the same condition before. When I told him that he had seen me before, he indicated that the system indicated that I am a new patient and proceeded to check the chart. • Then he rushed to diagnose me and recommend a treatment, which I trust are correct, but did not give me a chance to ask questions or discuss how to avoid future recurrence. On a positive note: His office is very well organized, and the staff is great. My wife and I have been treated by another two great doctors in this practice and are very happy with them.

Dr. Seidenstein replaced my right hip several years ago and now he’s going to replace my left hip. His explanations are clear. He answered all my questions. If in the future I’ll need to do my knees, I’ be back.

I am a retired physician and have only the highest compliments for Dr. Seidenstein. He is decisive, efficient, explains the problem and the therapies available in detail. More importantly, he has a wonderful 'bedside/office visit manner". I especially enjoy is sense of humor which put me at ease. I have complete confidence in him and will have him do my total knee arthroplasty/replacement most likely to be performed after June, 2022.

He is a surgeon who cares about his patients from the first visit if surgery is needed or other interventions can be utilized to avoid any surgical intervention. If surgery is needed he explains every detail to the patient and family to ensure all have a clear understanding and the anticipated treatment plan. He is beyond a 10.
