Dr. April Boswell, MD

I was truly disappointed with Dr. Boswell. In the introductory video on the practice's social media site where she was affiliated, she emphasized a highly personalized approach to patient care, which completely contradicted my experience. I found her dismissive of my concerns and dermatological needs. Despite explaining my issues, she failed to address all of them. What's more, as she was leaving the exam room, I had to remind her to examine an area on my back that I had just discussed as bothersome. It felt like a waste of both time and money to visit her. I had to wait weeks for an appointment, and yet she spent less than 5 minutes with me. Surprisingly, the nurse allocated more time to my care than Dr. Boswell did. As I got dressed to leave, I considered expressing my dissatisfaction but decided against it, unsure of how it would be received.

Unprofessional staff, horrible scheduling process. Treatment plan was written on a piece of notebook paper and never posted to the patient portal, until multiple requests over 2-3 months. Prescriptions were called into or sent to the wrong pharmacy, more than once. I had to request an actual copy of biopsy test results directly from the lab. Treatment plan felt like a guessing game and lacked explanation of purpose, expectations and goals.

Gave no meaningful recommendations. Was aware prior to the visit she could not provide any meaningful assistance.
