We were under Dr. Kasi's care as my husband had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy and a clinical trial. Dr. Kasi was very kind, compassionate and caring through the entire process up until the day when he told us that the treatment wasn't working anymore and he advised that we discontinue treatment and seek treatment elsewhere. He was in a hurry to leave the room, didn't want to answer our questions and didn't offer to "stand in the gap" until we found another treatment (so we are left in limbo). The way he treated us felt like since we weren't a part of the clinical trial any more he had no further use for us. We were already reeling from the devastating news but then to be treated as we were, it was very discouraging.

I am very impressed with Dr. Kasi. My mother is a patient of his and I go to the appointments with her. He takes time to find out any changes in her quality of life. He explains test results in simple terms. He is positive. He is up to date on new treatments. He cares!!!
