Dr. Anthony Moreno, MD

I have collapsed disks and Dr Moreno has done everything he can to get me in as quickly as possible. He is extremely warm, empathetic, and listened very well. I cannot recommend him highly enough

Just moved to the area and did extensive research for a new spine doctor since I have a terrible back. I thought I had found a good one. I drove over an hour to my appointment and the dr. was in the room less than 5 min for a new patient. He was rushed, had no bedside manner or empathy, and basically told me there was nothing he could do for me and was out the door. I was so crushed! After reading his positive reviews and background, I thought I had found a dr. that would at least try to help me with my issues. It was a complete waste of time. I’ve never felt so blown off and down after seeing a specialist before!

In May of 2023, we took my husband to see Dr. Moreno. He ordered an MRI for my husband and after obtaining that MRI, we went back to see him. When Dr. Moreno walked into the patient room to discuss my husband's problems he immediately stated that the surgery was too risky for my husband because he is in his 70s, has stents in his heart and carotid artery, has high blood pressure, and is a smoker. Not once did Dr. Moreno explain to us what the problem was. He just kept saying it was too risky. When we asked if we should get a second opinion, he got rather arrogant and said something to the effect: why don't you just go to Biospine, they will just fix you right up, and then he stormed out of the room. Needless to say, we left never to return and found another surgeon. My husband is doing fine now after another surgeon fixed his back issues. So beware. Check the web for other reviews elsewhere. There are plenty out there and we are not the only ones who feel this way.

I like Dr Anthony Moreno, I had an excellent experience, hopefully I will see him again in the future for surgery. Thank you!

Dr Moreno is more interested in money then doing the right thing. He performed the easy option for my issue which was not appropriate. When the surgery did not resolve my issue he came up with I might need a second surgery. because 1 of the screws was not lined up because of an issue with bone growth. . After an X-ray to confirm the issue with the screw , even the X-ray technician said that everything looked fine with how I was healing. I got 2nd opinion and found out that I had bone spurs that should have been removed instead of just replacing the disk. As a result of the second surgery within a year of the 1st it has taken me over 3 years to get out of pain and try to get my life back to normal try to get my life back. Recommend getting 2nd opinion for anything that is recommended by doctor Moreno or his PA

After over a year suffering from back pain, I am finally pain free after Dr. Anthony Moreno performed spinal surgery. Great doctor who listens and answers questions. Highly recommend.

Dr Moreno performed surgery and pain free. I consulted with top surgeons in Philadelphia hospitals that wanted to cut my stomach and back. Dr Moreno said not necessary to cut stomach which put me at ease. Dr Moreno is confident, compassionate, and caring. He takes time to listen and answer any questions or concerns you might have. He is also rated as a top doctor in the state of Florida and can see why.

Some other surgeons chose not to perform back surgery on an 80 year old woman but Dr. Moreno did. I am so thankful for that decision. I would recommend Dr. Moreno to anyone that was considering back surgery. I can now walk straight which I was never able to do before. Thank you Dr. Moreno!

After almost a year of trying literally everything to help my back I decided to consult Dr.Moreno. I had surgery last month and I am pleased to say that I am no longer in pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Moreno.

I was very nervous about the nerve block after a traumatic experience I had with another doctor over 10 years ago, but Dr. Moreno calmed my nerves. The first few shots to numb my skin was the only pain I felt, and that was minimal. Excellent experience! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Moreno is easy to talk with, and very caring. Dr. Moreno’s front desk could some of his personality for sure. Not a friendly caring atmosphere. It appears to be a boring job to the three sitting in the receptionist area. They “all” have no clue, how they are representation of this doctor, and his office, and furthermore, don’t seem to care!

Dr Moreno really improved my quality of life as he improved my spine so much. I came to him terrified to have the spinal fusion surgery but him and his team addressed all my concerns with it and have been there during my healing process. I was in pain of and on for 4 years, until it was just to much to take. Dr.Moreno I woke up after surgery and the next day and all the pain was gone. Dr. Did am amazing job, I am very grateful. Surgery is not my thing, but I regret not having the surgery done earlier.
