Poor management skills. Treatment not received.
This review is writing due to a poor experience with the Office Manager. An appointment was made for 2025 Jan 27. This appointment was scheduled over 5 weeks in advance. I received a call from Michael (Thx) on 2025 Jan 24 to verify a Tri-care referral. He said, 'I can't see the referral in the system. I explained I have a referral from my PCM. He said that I could bring it in on the day of my appointment. The office manager canceled my appointment because she wasn't aware that I had a referral. She also wasn't aware that this concern was discussed and resolved by another member of her staff earlier. She called to inquire, but only 5 hours before my scheduled appointment. She made an effort to reschedule my appoint, but the next available was 5 weeks away. Unsatisfactory. Before cancelling somebody's appointment at the last minute, talk with your staff first. If something is needed, try to give at least a day notice. Use your system to leave notes for other staff.

Don’t Use Him. Suspends Care. Has No Heart
Doehr will suspend you from his and the dept’s care to where you can no longer be seen if he deems a “trend” with someone. In my case I rescheduled my appointment in spring 24’ to Sept. 24’ but August I developed a UTI and the ER I went to recommended me to be seen right away by my urologist as I had blood in my urine. Called seeing if I could be seen sooner. Was contacted the day before the new appointment & was told I could no longer be seen. I had missed 2 appointments 5 years prior to this (rescheduled one to the same month) but I did not have a vm set up on my phone then and his staff never answered their phone. My mom had to go to their office when she was off & ask anything wrong with the phones, they said no. But 5 years ago and I’m suspended! Glad I didn’t have cancer cause I probably would not be here today, but he didn’t care his “trend he picked up on”was all that he cared about. Now I can’t be seen by any urologist thus far I’ve reached out to in Pensacola. Don’t go to him

Dr. Doerr Was very Down to earth. He Explained 'HIS' professional opinion of the situation and then gave me the right to choose the procedure i felt best for me. In my opinion Dr. Doerr put my well being ahead of his 'Bank Account'. A rare quality in today's world. YES, i will recommend him 100%.

Dr Doer FRONT DESK
First, I like Dr Doer. He has helped me lots. He treats me for urine flow only. Never had to turn in a PSA test to him as he knows I get my PSA monitored elsewhere - U of Fl. Upon driving from Fairhope, Al to his office I was told I must RESCHEDULE because of no PSA test. Woman at desk was RUDE, UGLY, and very AUTHORITARIAN!! I don’t need that. Gone elsewhere

Caring staff and amazing care
Dr. Doerr and Nicole Adams his APRN are an amazing pair. Compassionate and caring. Their supportive staff are the best around. From the front to the back, the staff take the time to get to know each patient with care and compassion. I would not go anywhere else! These are the best!!!

Outrageous priced 700.00 plus dollars for a 2 minute procedure and no follow up whatsoever on the results as far as a resolution to the issue or anything for that matter. In out and boom, 767.00 bill saw and spoke with him maybe 5 minutes and a 2 minute procedure.West Florida is always a ripoff.

Never got to see him. If i could I'd rate him 10- . Only out to make a buck has no compassion for people what so ever. I had to cancel more than 3 appts for significant reasons. The first was do to me having the flu. The second I was there and had to cancel do to they don't take Cigna Healthspring. The third same thing insurance they knew about. The 4th i was in hospital at West Florida tested positive for Coronavirus. As you can see all significant reasons. Now I can't be seen because I missed 3appts. This Dr.has absolutely no compassion whatsoever. Very sad he is in a profession to treat people's needs.

Dr. Doerr is a highly respected and extremely knowledgeable surgeon in my opinion. He has saved my "bacon" (no pun intended) more than once. His bedside manner is impeccable, very caring and compassionate. You are in very good and capable hands under his care.

I had my vasectomy and consultation with Dr. Doerr. Couldn’t have asked for a more understanding and caring Dr to go through this with. Was very thorough with the consultation and bedside manner during the procedure was fantastic. Procedure took ten minutes and was virtually pain free.

I wish I never started treatment with him. I was able to be seen three time and then when I try and make an appointment they never call back. It’s impossible to get an office employee on the phone. Dr is poor at explaining medical diagnosis and treatment with expended outcomes. If your patient caseload is too high, don’t except new patients.
