I echo Liz. I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my life. If you are unable to put your personal feelings aside or treat patients as the individuals they are with respect and dignity then you shouldn't become a doctor. There are all kinds of people in this word who experience all kinds of suffering and rely on doctors to listen to them, not judge them, and help them get better and understand what is going on in their body. I NEVER saw Dr Mark again after I learned what she said about me to another doctor within the NS network. She should be ashamed of herself. Don't recommend her for anyone that wants to be treated like a human being.

My daughter saw this physician and as a medical professional I have to give her a review that is totally negative. She not only disregarded my daughters concerns and symptoms, she reported to another physician that my daughter is the most anxious patient she has encountered. Very unprofessional due to her being threatened by a patient that wanted explanations about her treatment plan. If a level of care is above her professional abilities you should refer The patient to another physician

Dr. Mark was my first neurologist here in America. At one point I had to switch (due to moving), but after a bad experience with another doc, I'm now traveling the 45 minutes to see her. That's how good she is. Intelligent, respectful, friendly -- I can't recommend her highly enough. She doesn't talk down to me like other doctors I've come across; she doesn't dismiss what intelligence I have. It's appreciated.

Once you get beyond the incredibly rude receptionist who clearly hates her job, the rest is beautiful. Nicest nurses and doctor ever. She strives for excellence. I'm quite please with the progress of my headache treatments, but Dr. Mark isn't. She wants more progress and spends a great deal of time talking to me. I see many doctors; she is one of the very best.

The rudest doctor I've ever seen. I have a brain injury from herpes-meningitis & meningoencephalitis. She downplayed my debilitating neurological issues. I lost both my jobs cuz of my injury. I couldn't read or write initially. Since I couldn't work, I asked her to help w my disability case. She literally yelled at me, mocked me & told me to suck it up & to get work after she told me I need to sleep all the time. I did get approved for disability w/o her help & I still suffer. She's awful!

care philosophy

I believe in an evidence-based approach to diagnosing and treating neurologic disease, that is, if high quality evidence is available. Patient education regarding their condition and treatment options is also critical in reinforcing the patient’s ownership of their own health.
