Dr. Andrew Wong neurological patient
On one visit I mentioned to him a symptom of a condition outside his spectialties, and he recognized the need and was instrumental in getting me seen for that serious condition. I´ve been seeing him about 5 years beginning with his newly diagnosing my neurologic disease. He consistently treats me as someone intelligent, and doesn´t talk excessively loudly, marked differences from staff treatment at my senior living facility. Sticks to business in office visits, yet participates in brief conversation and encouragement about my activities outside of medical ones. My wife has been a medical professional with experience in telling a good doctor, and is very favorably impressed with him based on the questions I told her that Dr. Wong asked me. I don´t get a sense of being rushed. I´m fully satisfied with his competence and am glad he is a doctor of mine, and would recommend him.

Great Dr; dysfunctional office
Dr. Wong was wonderful to work with. Very knowledgable and thorough. I didn't feel rushed in my appts and he listened to me and took time to answer my many questions. His office, however, is the opposite. They are very disorganized, never return phone calls, and not at all helpful. It's not that they aren't friendly, they just are not at all organized or efficient. Making appts, getting records, and getting questions answered is next to impossible!

Staff is terrible!
The staff is ridiculously terrible! I've never left a review before but this office has made me do it. They are unresponsive, don't answer the phone, don't return messages.

His staff is the worst. They have one phone line and it seems to always go straight to voicemail. The staff could not provide me with solutions on urgently needing a refill prescription. Communication is the worst, there needs to be better management in that office. DR is great though.

Dr. Wong is fantastic Neurologist! He's so professional, attentive, and awesome "bedside manner" which I always need in a doctor. With that being written, his staff is horrific! They rarely answer calls, don't return voicemails, and seem very unorganized. I recommend Dr. Wong but it's making it harder to see him because his staff needs a major overhaul. It's saddening and distributing.

I was referred to Dr. Wong by my previous Neurologist who was leaving Lewis Gale. I had a follow up appointment scheduled by Dr. Wong for 3/7/2017. Unfortunately, I was called on 3/3/2017 by his office advising me he would no longer be doing outpatient work for Lewis Gale. His decision to leave outpatient care without any notice left over 100 people without a Neurologist . At this time I was on short term disability. This situation affected my return to work and pay. He is not recommended.

Dr. Wong is very considerate of the needs of his patient. He listens to your concerns and questions, and spends all the time needed to answer to your complete satisfaction. He has compassion for both your physical and mental well being. He also took the time to get me in the Xarelto Carepath plan that saved me money on this expensive medication. Recommend him highly.
