Dr. Andy and most of his staff are great. Staff sometimes not the most responsive. The only real issue I have ever had is the office manager Jessica. She is argumentative and short tempered. There is an issue of timely manner for paperwork being completed, This has been a continual issue. Again Dr. Andy is a wonderful doctor I will miss our conversations but I definitely will not miss some of the lack luster staff, especially Jessica.

Dr. Solkovits is not only a good doctor but he also has a good sense of humor. I started seeing Dr. Solkovits when I was 55 after a heart attack. During the 2 years I was a patient there I also saw 3 of his Nurse Practitioners, mostly Peter Eichwald, but all good at their job. I am writing this review because of my experience with Jessica the office manager. She called me when I was in the hospital in San Francisco to demand a payment that day because I was late on a bill. When I got home from open heart surgery I was told I got fired, I have been sent to collections and I missed 5 appointments. I was home recovering with no GP. Jessica acts like a 12 year old girl and she should not manage a doctor office. She has NO compassion and she straight LIED to me about missing appointments so the doctor would drop me as a patient.

California Family Medical is operated primarily by Dr. Solkovits' staff. I never saw Dr. Solkovits in the two years he was my Primary Care Doctor, always an assistant. The office staff's lack of understanding and obstinance was intolerable during two instances. One where a facetime call was initiated to my cell phone, but was connected to another OIS device on my account where my wife answered. I immediately called, but the office staff would not believe me and became defensive instead of trying to correct the issue to provide the results of a blood test. The offices staff's rudeness is intolerable.

My family and I were on the new patient waiting list for over a year and it was well worth the wait. The staff from top to bottom has been so professional and welcoming from the start. They have graciously accommodated multiple short notice appointment requests and are a true, “one stop shop” medical provider. We’re very happy with the compassionate care Dr. Solkovits provides and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you for taking great care of my family!

I have endorsed Dr Solkovits many times. I will state again as I approach 73. He is the best of the best as a personal Doctor. His staff is amazing, his people are caring and I would wait in the street 5 hours to see him he is that GOOD. I once had an emergency, and his staff pushed me right into a room. I drive from Chico Ca as needed to get care and wisdom from Andy. Take this review as real, 27 years with Andy and its because of his health management I feel that I get all the care anyone could ask for. PS I was a medical center consultant for 25 years in NY so I know what is good care. We are all so fortunate to have Andy in Northern California. Frank Covich Business Consultant. Chico Cal.

Be ready for staff and providers to be rude & abrupt. Your appointment will last 5 minutes but you will wait 30 minutes. There is no privacy & you can hear what’s going on in other rooms as you wait. If you question anything or see a specialist who has a different opinion—which is what your supposed to do — they take it personally & you feel like a problem for them rather than someone they are supposed to be helping.

I am writing this review about my experience with the office staff (specifically Jessica the office manager). Dr. S gave new patient paperwork to a family member for me to fill out, saying he'd take me as a new patient. When I turned in the paperwork at the front office Jessica told me he isn't taking new patients and treated me like I was lying, and she was extremely rude. I also know someone else who had a similar experience with her. I hope this review will make it to Dr. S so he is notified

Needed urgent care, my son fell. Walked in and they immediately got us back in a room. And they say they're not an urgent care. Ha ha!. Got in quicker than I would have at a walk-in or the ER and saved thousands of dollars.

I have been a patient with this group for almost a year. My husband is also a patient. As we speak his blood pressure is 242/124...and climbing...thanks to the office staff and Stephanie Stringfield pushing aside his request for a BP prescription to be sent to Rite Aide. He's had this prescription for almost 40 yrs. He requested this regular script a week ago....still nothing. The front staff has been nothing but rude and Stephanie said she's call it in "when she gets time"...still waiting

Sept 15, I went for an X-ray referral for my back. There was an elderly lady with a walker at the window who was abruptly told she was 20" late and had to reschedule. She asked if she could wait and be fitted in. No, she had to reschedule. Sad to see a disabled person treated in such a cold, harsh manner. Like none of us has ever waited 20" to see a doctor! After lost records, failure to follow thru, no return calls and this incident I'll go elsewhere. Did they call in the X-ray? Nope.

Excellent physician! He is very well-educated/experienced, confident in his medical knowledge but humble, very attentive, and treats you like youre the most important person in the room. I came in with such horrible lower back pain that restricted my daily activities. But after one osteopathic manipulative treatment session, i'm already walking around pain-free and with much more mobility than before. If you're looking for a fantastic physician, he is the one you'd want to see!

Dr. Solkovits provides excellent care with his patients with what ever going on with you, I have had 6 spine surgeries and his has been outstanding with me and who he refers you to, Dr. Solkovits would go to the same Doctor if he himself needed the care. He is very honest and straight forward with you and treats all of his patients like friends or family.

Dr. Solkovits was fantastic! I went in for a relatively simple FAA Class 3 Medical exam and it was a breeze. His staff was friendly and efficient as was he. I would highly recommend Dr. Solkovits to any of my friends or family.
