Dr. Jawa performed my reverse shoulder replacement a year ago, and he is a highly skilled, professional, knowledgeable and friendly surgeon. In every visit, he listens to and collaborates with me, is empathetic and patient, and made me feel cared about. My shoulder was a difficult one due to a previous injury, and he did everything possible to improve my shoulder. It is improved, and I value the entire experience. I highly recommend Dr. Jawa!

While having a very easy going & informal style, Dr. Jawa is an extraordinary skilled surgeon who ensured that I was well aware of the crucial aspects of the operation but also did the small things, such as calling the night before the procedure to reassure me. The post-operative care has been excellent & my recovery proceeds ahead of schedule. A tough experience sleep-wise but that was to be expected. A hugely talented physician worthy of tremendous respect for his patient treatment.

I had a complete shoulder replacement with Dr. Jawa a little over 3 months ago and have regained complete, pain free, use of my formerly arthritic shoulder. In my view, the man is a magician. The staff, including his able assistant, Kiet Lee, were a pleasure to deal with and the process was quick and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Jawa and his team to anyone without reservation.

Dr Jawa introduced himself as ‘Andy’, so I knew right away this was going to be a positive meeting. He put us very much at ease, and left no questions unanswered, and couldn’t have been more informative. I was ready to my procedure done that day, after speaking with him!

Dr. Jawa was extremely professional and carefully reviewed my particular situation. He took his time and answered my questions. Most of all, he did not push surgery and offered other options. Outstanding physician!

In 2016 I had a left shoulder replacement. The professionalism, updated communication and end result were A Plus. I have had NO issues with my shoulder since then. I have recently had an appointment for a right shoulder issue and was very pleased with the time Dr Jawa took with me to explain my issue and options. Dr. Jawa (Andy) is the best. He knows shoulder and joint replacement exceptionally well, is involved in research to become even more knowledgeable which is reflected in the quality of his surgery and the quality of his staff members. He and his staff are excellent at their respective jobs, communicate well and are very well organized. They are the the model of exceptional customer service. Oh, did I mention that Andy is also a top notch surgeon?

I suffered significant pain from advanced osteoarthritis in my right (dominant) shoulder for years. My range of motion was so restricted that I was unable to use my right arm to perform many of the ADL, and the pain was so severe that it disrupted my sleep on a nightly basis. Dr. Andy Jawa instilled the confidence I needed to finally have a reverse total shoulder replacement. My surgery was life changing. I am now 3 months post-surgery, and I am doing fantastic. My recovery was miraculous. I am now able to fully use my right arm to perform daily activities that I was unable to perform prior to surgery, and I am now pain free. I returned to road cycling approximately 7 weeks after surgery. When Dr. Jawa walked into the room for my 3-month follow up appointment, I immediately stood up to shake his hand and thank him, repeatedly. I’m a 70 year old who has been in pain for years from one body part or another. I had arthroscopic surgery locally on both shoulders which failed on both sides. After time and severe pain I decided to try again and find another physician to help me. That’s when I found Dr. Jawa. Right from when he walked into the exam room I knew I found the right person. He is so easy to talk to. He explained exactly what I needed to do going forward which was a reverse shoulder; and put me at ease right away. I put myself in his capable hands, and I’m so glad I did. I am almost pain free and can move my arm in all directions. It’s still a work in progress, but I know I will get there. I would also like to mention that his PA, Kiet Lee is also very knowledgable and easy to talk with. His staff is friendly and easy to work with.
