I am sure it is more than 15 years since I have received such a thorough exam or explanation of a problem as I did from Dr. Horodner. Physical exams since COVID seem to be a lost art yet still necessary to verify some conditions.

no follow through
Dr Horodner was always kind, helpful and informative during consultations but he would not follow through outside of in person appointments. He told me he would call me after my blood test results came in to discuss them and schedule our follow up appointments. I called his office every week for 5 weeks consecutively and could never get him to respond. His nurses would apologize and assure me that they would let him know that I was waiting to hear back from him, but sadly I still haven't heard from him. It's been over 4 months since my double mastectomy and he still hasn't called me back to let me know what the next steps are and to schedule our follow up, so today I am finally giving up and starting my search for a new doctor. So disappointing.

Dr. Horodner is very caring, thorough, and patient, which is everything I could ever ask for in a doctor and more. Also, his office staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Nurse Andrea: she’s very warmhearted and attentive. I always look forward to visiting Dr. Horodner’s office, and I would highly recommend him for everyone.

Dr. Horodner didn't follow through with his care. NOT SUPPORTIVE AND NOT HONEST. Never told us of the side affects of Dexamethasone. Even after telling him what we were experiencing, he said well that shouldn't happen. He made this breast cancer struggle so much worse than it ever needed to be in every way. I caution anybody from using this doctor. Not supportive - missed appointments and kept us waiting for over two hours.

Do not go to him if you have melanoma! My husband was seen by dr Horodner after his melanoma surgery and he was told there was no further treatment needed, just follow up with dermatologist. Two years later, his melanoma came back , this time with multiple metastasis over a large number of bones and a lung mass.Despite the fact that his cancer was very agressive , he delayed his treatment because he was out of town and also because his biopsy results were partly pending. My husband was in terrible pain, the pain medication was increased each dr.visit but his condition worsened. The doctor didn't consider other investigations or treatment .He ended up at the emergency room, this time paraplegic, he had multiple vertebral fractures due to his metastasis.During his 6 week stay in the hospital, dr Horodner was rarely seen and hard to get hold of.He ignored my calls and failed to follow up upon my husband's discharge from the hospital or inform us about his genetic testing outcome.
