Dr Dossett & his staff are thorough, courteous & professional. It is a non sugarcoated opinion and he is straight forward with diagnosis & treatment options. I drive 2.5 hrs, for that very reason. He tells you what is wrong & how to fix it. Doesn’t dance around or talk above your head. You know exactly what your issue is, and an outlined course of treatment. He has been my spine specialist for 23 years, and will be as long as he is practicing.

As soon as I started dealing with dr Dossett and his staff I knew I was in good hands. I do not have a single complaint on dr Dossett and his staff.

I’ve seen a few different surgeons at the Carrell Clinic with Dr. Dossett being the most recent. I had a long history of low back pain with right leg pain. It took a few surgeries but 6 weeks later following a 360 fusion I feel the best I have in years. As a physical therapist, I know and understand the complexities of the spine and was frightened to have this done but the pain was more than I could bear. I’m glad it’s done and Dr. Dossett and his staff have been amazing throughout this ordeal. Highly recommended group!

Dr. Dossett was informative, answered my questions and performed the surgery as explained. The staff was courteous and friendly. We usually arrived early for appointments as we lived quite a distance from Dallas and didn’t want to be late, but we were always seen early and never had to wait. Scheduling was easy. I’m still in the post op period and am moving well with some pain from the incision, but my leg and foot pain was resolved the day after surgery! I’m looking forward to starting PT in a couple of months after the surgery is healed.

Because of my own chronic back issues, I have been seen on and off by Dr. Dossett for 14 years now. From the first discectomy to the Fusion and all procedures in between, each one accomplished what needed to be done. Unfortunately, my back turned into a “bathroom remodel” because the more he looked, the more he found issues that needed to be addressed. He took them on, one by one, and I am now completely healed. I don’t and won’t speak for anyone else, but I personally consider Dr.Dossett to be a gifted, sincere individual with a true desire to help those who are hurting. And it didn’t matter whether I’m throwing packages in a receiving warehouse or throwing a football in the NFL, he took excellent care of my needs.

I’ve been diabetic for almost 50 years so have a lot of experience with doctors and medical issues. I don’t expect miracle cures. However, I expect honest advice and expertise. Dr Dossett has these in spades. I understood the problems and the potential and preferred solutions and got excellent results out of both of the very different back surgeries Dr Dossett has performed on me. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him to anyone.

I had been in pain for 3 years, and had tried everything to avoid surgery, including plasma rich platelets injections, 2 different chiropractors, 2 different physical therapists, and epidural injections. I truly was at the "end of my rope," and would have tried anything (other than narcotics). Dr. Dossett had me get a new MRI and X-rays. He told me he could fix my back with surgery. After the surgery, one week later, I knew my life was changing. I could stand up straight, walk more than just the necessity, and stand still to visit with others (all things I couldn't do before the surgery). I am walking pain free three miles a day, sleeping much better, and standing up straight right out of the bed every morning. I am so pleased with my results. I am so thankful for having found Dr. Dossett. I also had a great experience in the Carrell Clinic surgery center.

The cage he put in my wife had to be removed and redone by a doctor who actually treats patients. He put in a cage on c5-c6. It never releaved the pain, he was done with her after the surgery and couldn't care less. The "work" he did caused more damage and the whole thing was loose even the screws. It never healed. When repaired by a competent surgeon, the cage was described like a child's wiggly tooth. I'm sure he is good if you are a pro athlete, if not find someone willing to take time and treat you like a fellow human.

Dr Dossett did my spinal fusion on 2/16/2022. I could not be more pleased. I was only on pain medications for two weeks after the surgery. I feel like a whole new person. If you are considering having spine surgery, absolutely go visit him. I can stand with no pain, walk with no pain, LIVE LIFE WITH NO PAIN!!

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Dr Dossett, and his assistants. I presented with a bulging disc in October 2021, causing the most excruciating, and debilitating pain down my left side. He and his assistants did a microscopic lumbar Discectomy at L4 to L5. It was a same day procedure in the same complex as his office. My recovery was a bit rough for a few weeks, but, that’s always expected. They were very educational, and informative about every step of the process, and extremely efficient in communication both before, and after the procedure. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr Dossett and his team. Top notch, precise, to the point, and exceptional skills to say the least. I am from a small town, and my Crohn’s surgeon Dr Philip Huber, recommended Dr Dossett, and for that, I am extremely grateful. And, recovery/rehabilitation also play the most important roll for complete, and safe recovery. Always follow the doctors orders! Thank you so much Dr Dossett, and your assistants!!

Dr. Dossett did an extensive spine fusion on my back in 2018. The results have been a miracle. Pain free and huge improvement of quality of life. Dr. Dossett and his staff are the best. Dr. Dossett took the time to explain everything. He is a genius.

I LOVED Dr Dosset. He made me relax, he was very direct with my issues and most of all he made me well. Probably a typical surgeon being very much business but he was also funny and made me feel comfortable, secure and assured that he had it all handled. And he did. My surgery went perfect and my back is great a year later.

I liked Dr. Dossett, the office staff is another matter.
