Terrible bedside manner
Very dismissive of questions, no empathy, no compassion. Appointment felt very rushed. Made no eye contact with the patient and didn't ask if they had any questions. Would recommend a different doctor if you're dealing with a life changing diagnosis.

Wrong diagnoses
My wife suffering from abdominal pain was referred to Rex Hospital by our family physician, she spent the night at Rex hospital (that's another situation for later) Rex released her and referred my wife to Dr. Chang. After much difficulty getting the appointment to see Dr. Change; Dr. Change spent a good amount of time examining her asking question and looking at the C-scan sent over from another UNC hospital. He said the pain wasn't an urologic problem. Oh so wrong.......my wife suffered a ruptured kidney from a kidney blockage which allowed urine to leak into her body cavity, which set up an bacteria infection. Wrong diagnoses!!!!! In hind sight, WRONG DOCTOR, NO FOLLOW UP AND WITH A VERY WRONG DIAGNOSES.Would not recommend Chang to anyone.

Excellent Surgeon and Doctor
Dr. Chang performed surgery on me a couple of weeks ago and I can honestly say that he does an excellent job. I have read the other reviews prior to seeing him and honestly I did not percieve anything that was remotely close to no bedside manner or not listening to the patient, I found him matter of factly, honest and short and to the point. I guess alot of folks have to have their hands held and coddled in this day and time, I want honesty and someone that knows what the h#ll they are doing before cutting me open. I got that from Dr. Chang and would recommend him to any male with male issues in the urology field. Thank you Dr. Chang

Appointments and staff
Dr Chang is a really nice guy but his support structure is the worst I have ever seen or experienced. Over the past 2 weeks I have made eight attempts to get an appointment to get a very important prescription renewal authorized I have been put off hung up on no response over and over no callback over and over to the point of absurdity. I'm going to try to get to an office manager tomorrow morning and try one more time if that is the same results I have had over the past 2 weeks I will go to my primary physician and inform him that this organization is totally useless and please direct me to a different urologist that has a support staff and an organization that is functional. It is such a shame because truly Dr Chang is a good guy but this organization is without a doubt the worst I've ever dealt with.

Dr was dismissive of my concerns, condescending about all the questions I asked, and generally uninterested in addressing my case. However, if you're a male experiencing ED, he will likely treat you very differently.

The worst experience ever.
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He did not even ask why I was there. He just looked down at the blood work I brought him and said his diagnosis. He took literally 6 min. No thanks. He is not good at all. I think doctors should ask a patient why they are there and at least listen to 30 seconds explantation to get an idea of the patients needs.
