The Dr. Gurjala was very kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. The staff and nurses were extremely welcoming and helpful. I had a great reduction before having my double mastectomy, Dr. Gurjala took his time in giving me options to choose from as far as the result that I was hoping for. In the end I am very happy and content with my decision and the procedure.

Great experience

My consultation went well, Dr. Gurjala was excellent to speak with, regarding an upcoming procedure. He answered all of my questions patiently and without hesitation, and left me feeling confident in his and their staff's abilities to provide a successful outcome. I never felt like he was trying to up-sale unnecessary procedures, provided some welcome feedback, and felt like i was heard and my wishes respected. The office staff (i am sorry, i cannot remember whom it was!) was great, and completely understanding about my tardiness due to traffic and the parking situation (it's the city, it's a challenge!). All in all, i am quite satisfied with the encounter, and am looking forward to a great outcome! -- A.D.

Dr. Gurjala was extremely understanding and compassionate all through the process of my surgery (gender nullification) and listened carefully to what I wanted from my surgery. I'm extraordinarily pleased with the results and the support of everyone at align through the process of my recovery and arranging the surgery. If you are seeking GCS, especially if you are a nonbinary person, I cannot recommend Align - Dr. Gurjala specifically - highly enough. GCS is of course a significant operation and recovery a serious commitment, but Dr. Gurjala and his whole team made me feel cared for and understood.
