Should not be practicing medicine
This doctor does not know much medicine. I am a doctor and got her as a PCP. I am looking for another. She also talks about her personal problems which she should never do. I will not see her again. Too bad, really good doctors are needed. But this doctor said I should see a cardiologist to listen to my heart because she wasn't very good at it.

Pox on Massachusetts General Hospital
I am a nurse manager at MGH. I have worked there for about 30 years. It is rare for me to write a review of people in the hospital but Schoenbaum deserves to be fired. I feel I am qualified to say so.In the midst of the PCP shortage which is ongoing, I went to see her because the medical director said she had time. Not only was this woman rude on the two visits I made but she is an awful medical practitioner. I don't think she likes being a physician. At a physical, she announced she was tired. i suggested rescheduling. She said 'no.' Instead she did a cursory job of a physical exam. I had to ask her to listen to my heart. She was unprofessional. MGH keeps bad people around and Schoenbaum is one of the bad ones. Stay away.

Dr Shoenbaum has a calm demeanor and that should not be confused with not caring. She has been amazing to us during these trying times of a pandemic and can only imagine how busy she must be! Still she has been incredibly caring and attentive to both myself and my husband. when we needed her. Her office has been so professional and Dr Shoenbaum herself has been so available and really you know that you are in great hands! She is a great listener and has offers soloutions when needed. Thank You Dr Shoenbaum!

She has been my regular physician for years and is timely, caring, professional, knowledgeable, direct, good listener, open to ideas. She is affiliated with MGH and has a great support staff as well. I don't have any criticism; I trust her.
