Dr. McConnell has pretty much saved my life on two or three occasions. I have experienced many medical issues including sepsis, open heart surgery, aortic replacement, etc. and she provided excellent care and advice since 2007. She has called me as early as 7:00 a.m. when my blood work from the prior day came back with a problem telling me to go to hospital right away. She listens, is very thorough , thoughtful and comes up with solutions to medical issues. She is fantastic.

I have been with Dr. McConnell for 18 years. I have followed her from one office to the other since I have such confidence in her as my doctor. I lived overseas for 8 years and continued with the doctor throughout that time, on my home visits. Every issue I have had she has taken time to explain to me and recommend specialists when needed. Always willing t9 listen and give you as much time as needed.

I saw Dr.McConnell a few years ago. I complained of severe fatigue for a year. After numerous lab tests, she continued to state nothing was wrong. I asked for a hard copy of the test.On a visit to a different specialist, I shared it with her. She immediately ordered a CatScan after I stated that my Border Collie kept sniffing my neck. The lab test showed Potassium, Magnesium & Calcium were ALL FLAGGED as too low. Long story short, I had a tumor on my Thyroid. She is ok for simple issues.

I chose Dr. McConnell based on the strength of the recs here. I am compelled now to offer my review after 2+ yrs with her. She started strong – that didn't last. I called once from the ER to get a referral for a cardiologist, didn't hear back until 2 wks later. When released from ER I was told to see her for a follow-up in 2 wks. Her office told me that wasn't necessary. I recently called for an appt for an urgent physical condition I was, after pleading, given one 2.5 wks out.

I WOULD RECOMMEND DR MCCONNELL BECAUSE OF THE TIME SHE TAKES TO TALK TO HER PATIENT, HER MILD MANNER AND HER PROMPTNESS IN RESPONDING TO YOUR REQUEST BY PHONE OR EMAIL. HOWEVER GETTING AN APPT FOR A PHYSICAL IS DIFFICULTBUT EMERGENCIES ARE ALWAYS WORKED INTO HER SCHEDULE.
