Dr. Desai and his staff were professional, kind, and thorough. Dr. Desai was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like he was able to address all my concerns.

Dr Desai is knowledgeable and professional. His office scheduling was another story. Cesar told me this Dr did not perform the procedure I needed and turned me away (but he actually does). Long story, I asked for the office manager to contact me (twice) and she never did return my calls. I finally reached another sweet lady and she was very helpful. Glad she did because I felt confident in this doctor! If you can get in, you will be glad you did. They are very responsive after getting in. Their cancellation policy makes me afraid to book an appointment unless I know it is actually needed. But I understand it.

Have been told by ER and Primary Care doctor that I probably have a bleeding ulcer. They delayed scheduling an appointment due to an internal office policy and then asked me to shop around with other doctors to see if he could be fit in quicker if I thought it was urgent. Would never use this doctor.

He didn’t understand the symptoms and could not make a diagnosis. He had to go ask the other doctors in the practice for help. I was shocked and appalled at how bad he was.

Dr. Desai is very friendly and polite. He let me 'tell my story' before starting medical details.I have a GI condition since more than 10 years that is quite unusual, but not critical. It is a slight bleeding that is compensated by Iron supplements. Dr Desai immediately knew the name of that condition, and treatment alternatives. None of my other doctors has been able to name it! Dr Desai informed about other conditions that I should be aware of, and what I should do to avoid future GI problems. He is a true expert - while still able to clearly inform in layman terms!

I can imagine that everyone is nervous about getting a colonoscopy however in my case, there was an added layer of anxiety due to my personal circumstances. Thankfully Dr Desai and his entire team made sure that I was informed of each step, made sure that I was at ease and made sure that I was heard. As far as colonoscopies go, it was a great experience thanks to Dr Desai and his excellent patient first approach. Highly recommend.

Dr. Desai and his staff, very polite and professional. The doctor is very compassionate toward his patience, and he has been wonderful to my husband and I during a very hard time in our lives.

Dr. Desai is a concerned and kind expert. His care is good. The problem lies with his practice. At my consult he recommended I see a specialist and gave me a copy of who he would send a referral to. The referral was not written correctly and I could not make the referred appt. After calling again and again to his practice (they only have voicemail) and using their portal to communicate that referral was incorrect, at the end of the 2 weeks, I am still nowhere. He also sent a Rx to the practice's owned specialty pharmacy. The would not call back and it took 10 days for them to tell me my insurance would not cover it. I still do not have a recommended substitute. It is pathetic.

He makes her feel like she is his only patient and wanted what is best for her! He was concerned about what the families concern was! He explained everything in detail! He called us before and after the procedure! He is young but he is very knowledgeable. He is willing to go out of his way to help do what is best for his patients and their family! As far as our mom and our family we would highly recommend him to anyone! He will never know how much we appreciate him! In fact we feel like he saved our moms life!

He treated our mom as though she was his family. Went above and beyond with her care and treatments. He speaks to our level in understanding what is happening. Would not use anyone else. We travel 3 1/2 hours to see him and will continue if need be. Such a great doctor!!!!!! On a scale from 1 to 10 let me say he by passed 10!!!!

Dr. Desai is excellent! All of the staff is wonderful! Dr. Ambit Desai, my GI doctor, is fantastic, brilliant, and has excellent manners that are lacking in our healthcare system today as eye contact is hardly made with doctors nowadays as they are coding and doing a lot more in the room instead of focusing on the patient. Dr. Desai and his front office support, nurses, medical assistants, and surgical staff deserve a five-star review! Make an appointment today and request Dr. Desi if you are open to learning about your health while allowing Dr. Desai to take the lead and not rush you. Most importantly, he explains all the facts to you via the portal, phone call, or in person, as he is very accommodating. Dr. Desai communicates timely and works alongside my colon rectal surgeon as both are equally involved in my healthcare treatment, sharing the same common goal, ensuring the patient's best interest painting a positive outcome, even if it crosses an extra box to double-check to be 100%.

Dr Desail was very nice and explained everything that was going to take place! I would definitely recommend him to friends and family!
