Dr. Alyssa Henson, DO

Dr Henson is a wonderful pediatrician. We’ve seen her since my baby was two days old. She answers all the questions we have and explains everything really well. During her exams, I have always felt she was thorough and cared about my baby’s health and happiness. We plan to continue seeing Dr Henson as our little girl grows up and for any future babies.

Doctor Henson sees all 3 of my kids. She does great! I’ve never had any issues. She interacts with the kids when seeing them. They love her!

Dr Henson saw my sick son and was not very personable to my one year. She hardly asked any questions or acknowledged him. She asked what pharmacy we used and once I told her she just walked out of the room. She never told us if she was coming back, if she was finished with his appointment, or anything. She never mentioned a prescription or told us what she was calling in. After 5 minutes of her not returning or no nurses coming to check we just walked out. I had to call the pharmacy after leaving to see if she had called in medicine.

Dr. Henson was terrific! She told us her diagnosis in both a caring and informative way.I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Henson listens and makes you feel comfortable. She’s good at explaining and doesn’t get frustrated with questions.

My child has been seeing Dr. Henson since birth & we’ve never had any issues!

Dr. Henson has always been fantastic with my kids. My only complaint with the office is that i was in there for an hour and fifty minutes for a wellcheck visit which is nuts. Also, the sick and wellcheck visits are in the same waiting area. When i take my newborn in, im sitting around all these coughing kids that are suppose to have masks but not wearing them and should have appts only in the afternoons but are there at 10am with the wellcheck ppl. I get trying to work ppl in during a busy sick season, but help take care of the well babies to prevent them from coming back in.

Dr. Henson has always been very caring from day 1 of us meeting her. I have never felt uninformed. My daughter loves her!

We had a sick visit and she took her time, problem solved, and was thorough in her thought process. She is also great about speaking directly with the kids. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Henson has always been great with my baby. She listens to all of my concerns, and gives honest feedback.

We have been going to Dr Henson for a long time. I have never been disappointed in the care my children have received from her. She is very attentive and thorough. She listens to everything we are concerned about and when we leave, we feel like all of our concerns have been addressed. I can’t imagine my children seeing anyone else.

I have had her in the past with no issues but today she seemed to laugh at everything. When I asked her to check my sons blood she laughed and was like well ok …. And when she came back to tell me he had strep she also told me his white blood count was high but it was probably because he has had strep for a while and it wasn’t treated trying to say like I had my son sick for a while which isn’t true. He looked off for a week but when I asked if he felt sick he would say no until Thursday and I brought him in on Friday. Made me feel terrible and I’m upset about how she just laughed like something was funny. I will stick with doctor Bridgeman

Dr Henson always takes her time with us and doesn’t rush through the visit. She’s knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

First time meeting her and she was so awesome listened to my concerns and tried her best to calm my daughter!

They are always fast to get you back to see the dr. She always great with my teenager. She not always most comfortable going to dr but she makes her feel welcome.

She takes the time to answer your questions! Very good!
