Dr. Alma Dehdashti, DO

Dr. D. is a diamond in the rough. She actually cares. I felt like I was talking to an old friend during my first appointment. I could tell right away, she loves what she does, she lights up the room. I felt comfortable, she listened to me, and treated me with respect and kindness. My eczema and itching is finally under control, and I finally have a doctor that I actually look forward to seeing.

It took me 6 weeks to get my appointment with her. My appointment time was 1 pm. When i was scheduling my appointment the receptionist told me she has no tolerance for people being late. If i was late i would have to reschedule for another appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early and the sign on the door said closed until 1 pm. I waited out In front of the door and they did not come back until exactly 1 pm.Checking in she asked if i had appointment i showed her my appointment letter and she said the doctor was not there today. No one told me she left for a long weekend holiday and i drove for one hour thirty minutes to get there. Then the receptionist said her next appointment was 16 weeks later!!! I called my referring doctor and got an appointment in 4 day. Dr Dehdashti was a great dermatologist and i am under current treatment.She apologized for the error and I accepted

Didn't have time for my appt. She Was 10 mins late, as I waited in the room. Then tells me that she only has 15 mins with each patient, so I would need to make another appt. Billed my insurance hundreds, then sent me a bill for $250. Did not make another appointment, nor will I.

Poor bedside manner. Does not have time for patients. Pushes you out the door to make next appointment. All about money.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A DOC. MY APPT WAS FOR SKIN CHECK/ACNE..I EXPLAINED I HAD 4 DIFFERENT SURGERIES FROM MELANOMA SKIN CANCER, SHE PROCEEDS TO TELL ME "THATS IMPOSSIBLE, A PERSON CAN ONLY HAVE 1 SPOT OF MELANOMA ON THEIR BODY AND IM GOING TO PRETEND THAT U DIDNT TELL ME THAT CUZ THEN I WILL HAVE TO TELL YOUR INSURANCE AND YOUR RATES WILL GO UP CUZ YOU WILL BE IN CANCER CATEGORY." I ASK HER ABOUT MY ACNE AND SHE SAYS"I ONLY HAVE 5 MINS W/ EA PATIENT, U HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER APPT." BILLS ME $250!

This Dr. gave the impression she didn't fully listen to my concerns or was not knowledgeable in her field. I basically told her of my skin issues, then she asked if I was doing anything on my own to treat the issue. When I told her yes and what I had tried, she basically said that is the correct thing to do and keep doing it. I told her I had been trying these products for over a year with no improvement and she just said sometimes they take time. Ridiculous!!!
