Dr. Wegener is highly competent
Dr. Wegener is highly competent at bladder surgery and saved my bladder following a cancer diagnosis. He expertly removed only the part that was infected, and left enough to function normally. Following the surgery he and his staff were kind and attentive. I recommend Dr. Wegener to anyone in East Texas and beyond. He is skilled and knowledgeable in bladder complications and surgery.

Dr. Wegener and his staff are exceptional care givers. Every member of Dr. Wegener including the doctor are highly skilled, friendly, polite, efficient and upbeat. What a difference that makes when going to a doctor especially for serious situations. Dr. Wegener replaced my bladder, which had cancer in the muscle and replaced the bladder with a Neobladder. He is the only doctor in Tyler that is qualified to do this surgery. The doctor and the nurses are very patient and listen to what the patient has to say. I have been going to see Dr. Wegener and his partner Dr. Kirkpatrick for over 3 years. It is like visiting family the way they greet you and treat you. I highly recommended Dr. Wegener and his staff and am willing to talk to anyone who has questions.

Dr. Wegener and his staff are great! He is very oriented towards listening to his patients and finding out what really needs to be done. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist. He's an awesome doctor!!

Dr. Wegener exudes confidence and explains in as much detail as I request. Very professional, yet down to earth, never talks down to me. After the procedure, I am so much better physically than I could have expected. He is the man.

Very knowledgeable! He did a great job explaining everything and made us feel at ease. The only issues are scheduling, he is booked very far out even for a followup appointment when you are not a new patient. Also the wait time in the waiting room/exam room was very long. But he is worth the wait!
