Saw Dr. Maniker years ago and hated the experience, found a new doctor. He was a real snob.

I will never forget my awful experience with Dr. Maniker. I was 22 years old and had been suffering from excruciating pain in my left upper side since a brachial plexus and ulnar nerve injury (both required surgical intervention) when I was 19 years old. I was sent to him to consider if I required additional surgical intervention. I found Dr. Maniker dismissive of my symptoms and the amount of pain I was in, and felt that he didn’t believe me. He told me he couldn’t do anything to help me and sent me back to the referring physician. Despite commenting on positive findings and noting muscle atrophy In his report, he concluded that my symptoms were psychogenic in nature. His insensitivity and misdiagnosis led me to suffer for two more years until I was finally given the correct diagnosis, symptoms of which he had observed and documented during his exam. If I had been diagnosed sooner, I wouldn’t have the permanent nerve damage and chronic pain that I face daily.

I had scar tissue on my brachial-plexis from a motorcycle accident. Dr Maniker operated & cleared the scar tissue and I had full use of my left arm within 6 months. He did a fantastic job, was informative and professional.

Disappointing experience. I would not recommend this uncaring man to anyone. His exam was not at all thorough and he failed to help me through a very severe nerve injury.
