I want the Dr. who got all A’s !
Dr. Blackburn can not only read an x-ray, but he can read the room. I am a very athletic 75 year-old who insists on going back to Pickle Ball. He has a sense of humor and put up with my antics. At a certain age, you feel like you can say just about anything to anyone. I was very candid and Dr. Blackburn rose to the occasion. He’s got to be one of the most knowledgeable professionals I’ve ever run into in all my years. He is a specialist that in itself is worth an extra star . I thank God for professionals like Dr. Blackburn.

Listened intently and then was very through going over xrays. He then diagnosed what was going on and what would help it get better.

Priceless
I have had Dr Blackburn as my orthopedic hand surgeon for the last 5 years. He has performed carpal tunnel surgery and has kept me out of major hand surgery with injections. I will eventually have to have the surgery when I'm ready and the pain gets to bad. He leaves that decision totally up to me with no pressure. As he says I'm here when you need me, and that to me is priceless. Thank you Dr Blackburn and keep that family in the air and traveling.

Great Doctor & Practice!
I can not say enough good things about Dr. Blackburn and South Florida Orthopedics. Dr. Black took the time to thoroughly explain my options and the possible outcomes of each choice. He also gave me his opinion on what he believed would be the best course of action, while also telling me that it’s my decision on how to proceed. Dr. Blackburn took a good amount of time to answer my questions and never made me feel like he was on a schedule to get to another patient. I knew I was in very good and caring hands. South Florida Orthopedics was very organized-they called me the day before my appointment to gather my history in advance so check in would be quick and seamless. The entire experience was very professional and positive. The best I’ve with any Doctor or medical practice since I moved to Florida.

Second visit
I just saw Dr Blackburn for a follow up visit and an injection. He was engaging, interested and answered all my questions.I was completely at ease with the treatment plan and had a painless injection in my wrist .Its rare to find a doctor who can impart so much knowledge and gain so much trust in a short time, but this guy is the real deal .

Best Dr in PSL!
Dr. Blackburn & his team were super efficient & so nice! From the moment I went in they treated me like I mattered. They listened to my issues & helped me understand what I was dealing with. We now have a path moving forward to fix my carpal tunnel & De QuerVain Syndrome in a way that won’t bankrupt me. Never have I been to an orthopedic office that moved so quickly & efficiently & made me feel like a priority. From the front desk & check out, all the nurses, Scott the PA & Dr. Blackburn himself everyone there is so thoughtful & want nothing but to help their patients! Anyone dealing with hand, wrist or elbow issues definitely go see Dr. Blackburn & team!
