Discriminates against unvaxxed patients
Dr. Attar will not see you in person if you haven’t had the Covid shots. Even though you can prove you have had Covid. And the shots have been proven to not prevent transmission. This is blatant discrimination!!!

I first began seeing Dr. Attar just before the shutdowns for COVID-19 began. He requested many proactive tests and procedures, but unfortunately they were unsuccessful in diagnosing my condition. After the initial battery of procedures, I felt like I had to push very hard to convince him to continue testing. Ultimately, after six months of fruitless tests and finally getting a CT scan, I was admitted to the hospital for a very rare form of cancer and had to undergo surgery. Although the rarity of my type of cancer certainly complicated factors, I feel that I would probably be dead or dying right now if I wasn't so vocal about my concerns and instead went with his initial hunch. If scans had been ordered earlier I may have gotten away with less serious cancer staging. Can't say if he is any better or worse than other gastroenterologists, but I certainly felt that his reliance on experience and conventional methods may have been a hindrance for my diagnosis.

I have known Dr. Attar for over 25 years. I would not go to anyone else. In my opinion, Dr. Attar’s mission in life is to eradicate colon cancer. It is up to each person to take care of his/her health. Choosing Dr. Attar for your gastrointestinal health is the first step. Highly recommend!

His staff that came last fall are so much better than the previous staff . They are way more knowledgeable and just so much nicer . The staff has helped me every time I call . I really appreciate everything they do for me . They do overbook but I think it comes more from his direction . I could not imagine the staff doing that to themselves on purpose. There is typically a wait depends on when you schedule your appointment. If you go early it's less of a wait . The phone is busy busy again not the staff's fault . The staff has always been respectful in addressing my concern . As for the Dr. He is proficient in his ability to do his procedures and office visits . If I could I would rate the staff a 5 and the physician 3-4

Dr. Attar is the rudest and greediest doctor I have ever been to. He changes his prices based on how much he likes a patient. I have a friend who goes as well and our bills are always different just for your standard office visit. No matter when I go I have to wait for at least 90 minutes before being seen. The office is small and crowded and he runs hours behind schedule. The woman who schedules the surgeries is about as smart as a rock. She messed up her instructions to me multiple times.

DR. ATTAR HAD AMAZING CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL WHEN I FIRST MET HIM. I WAS SOOOO SICK. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WOULD HONESTLY TAKE THE TIME TO ACTUALLY LISTEN LONG ENOUGH TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. THE FUNNY THING IS HE IS A GI DOCTOR BUT IT WAS PARTIALLY A GI ISSUE BUT HE ENDED UP DOING THE OTHER PHYSICIANS JOB BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF PROBLEM HE IS THE MAN TO SEE. HE IS THE BEST PHYSICIAN I HAVE EVER HAD, HANDS DOWN.

Dr. Attar is one of the most caring physicians I have ever known. He spends whatever time you need with him, he LISTENS, that is so important. HE REALLY CARES about his patients, I know, I came to him so sick (straight from another physicians office), he admitted me to hospital. I was VERY SICK. I feel he saved my life.
