Dr. Afolabi Idowu, MD

Absolutely amazing! I’ve been going here since late 2020. I just adore the staff, and Dr. Idowu is always kind, honest, and consistent. He and all of the staff have always made sure I am well taken care of.

Dr. Idowu was my PCP for almost 10 years. however I experienced a lot of neglect in non-diagnosis and proper follow-up on symptoms I had. He sent me to specialists without telling me what he suspected and not following up with the specialists on their findings. The specialists were lousy, namely a hematologist because I had a high white blood count. I didn't know what a high white blood count was a symptom of or I would have screamed bloody murder myself. The specialist just drew blood samples every few months for almost 2 years and then he dismissed me without any other info. Turns out it was from hernia mesh that had rolled up inside of me, caused more hernias, infection, bowel blockage and much more. I asked for CT scans and could not get then. Only when I got a cyst in my lower abdomen that erupted and became a draining wound was I able to get to the bottom of this myself without help from Idowu. Dr. Idowu would not refer me to a wound care clinic. I had to get it done myself.
