Lumbar fix
Dr Pearson and staff are exceptional at what they do. My pain and numbness after surgery has been reduced to no pain and very minimal numbness and walking and standing longer is working. I appreciate everything Dartmouth offers.

Always a great experience
To have gone from walking with pain to no pain while walking is life changing. Dr. Pearson and everyone at DHMC took good care of me for which I am grateful.

High-Value Spinal Surgeon
Dr. Pearson was consistently attentive, accessible, and professional. My stay following surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock was similarly filled with high-quality professional people.

Dr. Pearson and his team completed a bilateral fusion on my back on April 1st 2024. I am a farmer and had beaten up my back pretty bad from years of. hard work and heavy lifting. I suffered terrible leg pain for months. It took me months to get an appointment at our local hospital and I was not very impressed once I finally met with them. I have always been a fan of DHMC for many years. I contacted DHMC and got an appointment within 3 weeks. My wife and I met with Dr. Pearson and his staff. The prognosis from them was not what I wanted to hear as my condition was much worse than I thought. Dr. Pearson explained the situation and how it could be corrected through surgery so well. He went through all the possible side effects which was pretty unnerving. I said many prayers for a successful operation. I had the surgery, everything went well once I came out of the anesthesia the pain in my legs was gone and not one side effect. Very Satisfied!

Wonderful surgeon
I am so grateful for Dr. Pearson. I was in so much pain I couldn’t wait for surgery day. I put my whole trust in him and God to keep away anything that could go wrong. I felt like a whole new person in the recovery room! I loved this doctor, his listening, his personality, everything! Thank you!

What happened to me +++++
I love Dr Pearson !!! Thank you kind Sir !!! You have made (with your team of course) my results a super duper positive outcome !!! After 45 years of pain, six previous lumber surgeries..... he stepped up gave me the good, bad, and the Ugly, laid it right out on the table 10% it does nothing, 30% it may go backwards, and 60% chance I may have some, too little positive outcome. I took the chance....... I am super Stoked(as the younger gen would say) that Dr. Pearson paid attention in Medical school and took his career seriously !!! and by gosh it shows !!! Thank you thank you.I can alway tell of a persons commitment is when you look them in the eye and shake their hand, it tells ALL !!!!! Dartmouth Hospital and staff, I can't thank you as well for a pleasant experience from "A" to "Z" it was all very nice and couldn't have planned or even expected the outcome with all of your assistance. The employees, the facility, the support staff all done with a proud smile. You guys are AWESOME !!!

Mission accomplished!
Dr. Pearson performed a fusion and laminectomy to eliminate the pain in my legs when walking or standing. His expertise and professionalism were evident in all that he did, and following the surgery the problem no longer exists. He’s a pro who gets my highest recommendation.

September of 2022 Dr Pearson performed surgery to relieve a pinched nerve in my spine. I can't say enough positive about Dr. Pearson's team. Pain was gone as soon as I woke from anesthesia and pain from surgery healed quickly. I am on the way to getting my life back.

Back surgery
He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. He communicated through force therapeutics. Which I found very helpful in allowing me to do my recovery and physical therapy at home for the most part. I am doing some more physical therapy at chiofretti's. But all in all it was a great experience.

Lumbar Fusion
dr pearson was personable and very informative. explained the entire surgery with pros and cons. explained what could go wrong and answered my questions with the best detail in words that i could understand. post-surgery was uneventful: questions were answered promptly by nurses with explanations that were as comprehensive as if dr P was answering them. first post-op went very well. used Force program more for pre-surgery than post. have started PT for lower extremity weakness but am now walking and cycling on a trainer. am working in my garden for the first season in a while. thank you, dr P.

First meeting with Dr. Pearson was very pleasurable, informative and professional. He hit the nail on the head with my lower back problems and was able to return me to good back health in practically no time. Went from extreme pain and agony, to walking the same day of surgery with only surgical pain at first, that subsided over a week (to where I'm at, now 3 months later) fully engaged in whatever I like doing, (being a full time auto mechanic). Dr. Pearson is a very busy man who knows his stuff, he and his staff are absolutely, top notch and I highly recommend them.

After an injury that left me with two fractures in the spine and in terrible pain, I saw Dr. Pearson. He explained clearly about the surgery I would need in order to be out of pain and get back to living my life. He was, also, clear about what things could go wrong. Those problems are rare but he did explain those problems. I had surgery 7 months ago. I am out of pain, feel fantastic and back to hiking. Awesome surgeon and person.
