Dr. Abe Kaplan not only a phenomenal doctor but a better person, I believe there are people predestined to be a benefit to human race and he is I only hope that this review gives someone a peace of mind to know you’re in excellent care

Dr. Kaplan put me at ease from the get-go because of his professional talent, proficiency, up-to-date knowledge, and self-confidence (sans a trace of arrogance). He is totally efficient, conscientious, and thorough in his work. I never felt that he was cutting corners in any way. Neither did he cut me loose too soon but provided ample follow-ups to ensure a successful outcome. As if all of the above weren't enough, Dr. Kaplan is just a genuinely nice, nice person, to boot! When all is said and done, I feel that I now have amazingly good vision thanks to an amazingly good ophthalmologist.

Dr Kaplan went above and beyond preparing for my cataract surgeries. I had LASIK over 20 years ago and apparently LASIK can complicate cataract surgery because of prior surgery to the eyes. Dr Kaplan suggested if possible that I try to get my original eye measurements prior to LASIK. Fortunately I was able to get this data and Dr Kaplan used it in the calculations for my laser cataract surgery. Dr Kaplan installed lenses during the surgery and I now have 20/20 vision. Dr Kaplan was recommended to me and now I know why. I drove 1 1/2 hours each way for each visit and I wouldn’t change a thing. Don’t look any further once you’ve found the best!

I am giving Dr. Abe Kaplan of Premier Eyecare in BG the highest possible rating. Following Cataract Surgery through a different provider, my eysight quickly deteriorated to the point where I was unable to read. My previous provider advised that I wait to see if it improved in six months. I contacted Dr. Kaplan for a second opinion. He took an immediate interest, ran a bunch of tests, and identified the source of my trouble as a treatable eye condition. Within a month, my reading vision improved and it is now restored. What impressed me about Dr. Kaplan was his immediate interest in tackling my condition, his determination in identifying the cause, and his skill in treating it.

Dr. Kaplan is very knowlegable, and very compassionate. He will take the time to discuss your concerns fully, and answer any questions you may have. He explains complex conditions clearly without coming across as condescending. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Kaplan came in after hours and gave me his cell phone number when I had a serious eye injury. He is compassionate and goes above and beyond what is expected to take care of his patients. The ER doctor that also treated me said that Dr. Kaplan is the nicest doctor he's ever spoken with.

I recently saw dr. Kaplan, having seen other physicians in the practice and not being able to get an appointment with them. He entered the room and went to shake my hand BEFORE WASHING HIS HANDS! I am not a germaphobe, I am a doctor who teaches other doctors! I was appalled. when I asked him to wash his hands, he complied. I will NEVER see this provider again. Note, I waited 45 minutes for this appointment and had to go to the desk an inquire why I had been waiting so long.
